Mine used to sometimes fall on Superbowl weekend, but then they pushed the Superbowl back a week around 2002. Now it's usually the bye week between the final play offs or whatever and the Superbowl. Which is how I like it, I didn't like sharing with a stupid football game

Yep! It actually worked out really well in our family because my birthday on on/around Easter and my sisters' birthday is on/around Thanksgiving so every time we go to my grandparents to celebrate a holiday there is always presents and cake! lol. We even do cake on Christmas since it is technically a birthday too.

@Mrs Hedgehog: We've joked around that since my nephew was born on New Year's and our LO is a Christmas Eve baby, next time we'll have to try for Halloween since that's the next holiday that doesn't move dates.

4/2 so sometimes Easter. Hubby is the day before st Patrick's day too. All things in our relationship have been on holidays, so I'm kind of bummed it looks like LO won't be born near one (10/14) oh well!

it's always a holiday - called, juliekim's birthday. IM KIDDING (sorry if someone else already made this joke). sometimes mother's day falls on my birthday.

My hubby's birthday is Christmas and my best friend's is 12/26

Sometimes my birthday (5/26) lands on Memorial Day. I usually end up with my birthday falling on some part of the long weekend or I take off an extra day. I think it's fun. Some years it works out great for getting together with friends (picnic, beach, camping, etc.) and other times it doesn't work because people go out of town.
My wedding anniversary falls is sometimes on Columbus Day.
