The food I cook is just ok. But I make salmon once a week for the kids, and last week it was AMAZING! I can't take any credit though: I just did what I always do (bake it in an oven with olive oil, salt and pepper). I think maybe the cut of fish was just better than usual? Or maybe it's the oven: the oven in our new apartment takes twice as long to cook food, so maybe that was a factor.
The kids devoured the salmon though, and it made me think that it's time for me to start making truly delicious food... not just the satisfactory grub I usually make. The kids aren't great eaters, but maybe if I can whip up more delicious food they will eat more of it!
Anyone have suggestions or recipes for kid-tested delicious food? Also, is your cooking delicious or satisfactory?
I enjoy trying new recipes and tweaking existing ones to make them better. I will say I struggle with porkchops...they are always dry no matter what I do!
LO likes it, although some things are hit and miss for her but I don't take it personally since she's a toddler.
No LOs yet. DH will eat it
