Olive is usually a slow nurser. She likes to take her time, and usually nurses for a good 15 min+. My friend's baby who is the same age as Olive only takes 5 min.

I feel like my LO is a slow nurser as well. In the beginning I thought it was because my breast had too much milk and was flowing out too fast he'll also choke when my breast is not engorged as well. I see a connection with his daddy...who also is a slow eater.

Slow, slow, slow. I always feed her without any distractions nearby but she stops frequently to babble and coo!

At 8 months, she's a pretty fast nurser. But for her bedtime feed, she is sooooo tired and relaxed that she takes her time. I think it's cute.

@Rubies: Same here. He is pretty efficient, but at bedtime he still takes his sweet time.

LO is super fast now. She nurses for longer at night though.

She used to be pretty fast...less than 10 minutes but now she's getting to be slow... 15+. It could also be that she's drinking more now since she's getting bigger.
