Tonight I was reading to Charlie to get him to sleep and he interrupted to say, "Me happy, daddy!"
I said, why? He asked, "Daddy happy?" I said, "Daddy is very happy."
He said, "Mommy happy?" I said,"Mommy is very happy!"
There was a pause so I asked, "Why are you happy, Charlie?" He said, "Because daddy happy and mommy happy!"
*tear*
It was our best conversation ever!! It was the first time he ever told me he was happy. I was beyond verklempt.

My LO is usually happy... not as much now that she's teething 
She's a huge smiler though. I love her gummy smile, I'm going to miss it when the teeth come.

I love Charlie so much!
I would like to think LO is happy...But her perma-grimace makes it hard to tell.

Charlie just sounds like the sweetest boy!! Plus, doesn't pooping make everyone happy?
Our LO is really happy in general. We often get comments from people about how friendly and how quick he is to smile.

What a sweet moment; Can't wait to have "conversations" with my LO.
Speaking of my LO, she has her difficult moments but she's usually very smiley so I take that to mean that she's happy.
