Charlie just wasn't very interested in baby dolls, but Olive is! She loves to push her babies around in her stroller, and to cover them in blankets (aka her burp cloth). She just loooves her babies.
Charlie could care less about babies, unless Olive is playing with a baby in front of him in which case of course he wants to steal it from her.
Is your LO into babies? (Baby dolls I mean, not real life babies.)

Not really. She received a very creepy baby doll/monkey thing ( maybe it's a baby wearing a monkey costume?) that talks and sings as a gift, and she ignores it completely. Which is great because its going to mysteriously disappear very soon.

Yes, we got him a life-like baby doll to help get ready for #2's arrival, he likes to carry it around and practice feeding and "petting" it gently.
I forgot to tell my husband when it arrived from Amazon, the next day I was at work and C carried it out by the head and freaked my husband out 
It is VERY realistic, C leaves it in random places and it still makes us jump.

Nope. She shows some interest in baby dolls for a minute or two. She'll rock the doll or hug it... but then a few seconds later she typically thinks it's more funny to throw the baby on the ground. We have had many discussions about how we don't throw babies

My toddler doesn't show any interest in baby dolls or stuffed animals. He's obsessed with real life babies though!

Yes! Dd loved to carry them around and give them smooches and hugs! She loves her (stuffed) dogs more though!

M likes her baby doll we got her for Christmas okay. It's not her favorite thing but she will hug it and carry it around some.

LO got a baby doll for his birthday to prepare him for being a big brother. He would play with it occasionally. Now that the baby is here, he is more interested. Last week he set himself on the couch (pillow on his back, pillow on lap) and started to lift up his shirt to breastfeed his baby.

Nope, real or fake ones. She plays with her Baby Alive sometimes, but doesn't go out of her way to pick her up.lol

@lemondrop: wow! That's one realistic baby - but not in a creepy way. So many baby dolls are creepy! Do you remember the brand?
My 18 month old girl likes baby dolls on her terms only. Which right now means she likes to give hers a bottle and put it in its cradle, but won't tolerate it being in her play stroller - she likes that empty! She loves real babies though.

@lemondrop: lol, those are dangerous! My younger sister had a very real-looking baby doll when she was little. My dad was walking down the street one day carrying it by the arm and totally freaked out this poor woman!

My 14 month old surprised us by really liking her baby doll she got for Christmas. Right away she was pretending to give the baby a bottle and tried to put her pacifier in the baby's mouth! It was so cute!

@Bao: @PinkElephant: It's JC Toys La Newborn doll from Amazon. We got the 17" doll since we had a slew of credit with Amazon at the time, but they are pricey- the 14-15" doll would work just as well for the price. It fits into real preemie clothes and newborn diapers that I picked up on my own at Walmart for cheap. The clothes they come with are awful, but the quality of the doll is fantastic!
The reviews are pretty entertaining- one had me rolling, these dolls are anatomically correct, which someone didn't quite understand the meaning of

@mamabear57: My DS is the same way!!! I'm kinda concerned about how he will react with baby #2 on the way. I'm sure he won't know what hit him!
