My LO was born impatient. I really can't do anything fast enough. I am slowly working on this since she can understand what I say now but she is still quite impatient. Like mother like daughter!

It's too early to tell, but my LO was born mellow and is a good 1 year old. Hopefully she's patient like her umma

hehe. I think for a toddler boy RJ is relatively patient. We've taught him to count when he has to wait for things. Sometimes even in mid-tantrum he'll start sobbing as he counts-- "one, huh huh huh, twoooo.... huhhhh.... tweee...." so cute.

Hopefully lo will end up like me and not hubby. He is so impatient! She's only a baby now, so she's allowed. Its so cute when she sees her bottle but cant have it yet because I'm shaking it she'll start crying. She cant wait!

@mrs. wagon: i tried the 1-2-3 thing but she had no interest! i'll have to try it again when she is older.

@Andrea: hehe. yeah we stayed pretty consistent with it even when he didn't want to do it. Now that he's a little more compliant with us he'll do it almost every time. He can count pretty far but gets stuck on fourteen-- he just keeps saying fourteen over and over and then eventually "twenty!" haha.

@mrs. wagon: haha. LO can only count to 11 but she loves to skip 4. perhaps she knows it is an unlucky number for us chinese people. LOL.
