I can almost predict when LO will poo. Always in the morning and then again around 2pm. I'm hoping this will continue for when we start potty-training.

@mrbee: Yep. It's actually really common believe it or not. EBF babies can go up to 10 days without a bowel, with no concern. If your child is going to be the type that only goes every once in awhile they start slowing down around 8 weeks. He's 5 months now. The 5 year old goes every day around 4:30pm lol.

@junebugmama: Hmm, I'm friendly with a doctor who specializes in childhood constipation... I'll ask him about this topic!

@mrbee: I'm in the process of becoming a lactation consultant. I'm learning more about baby poop than I could have ever imagined I just interviewed a Mom who breastfed 6 kids. Her oldest only went once every 2 weeks!!!

She was when we were ebf - pooped every AM! Now that we introduced solids 3X day, I feel like she's forever pooping! Today she had four poopy diapers!!

Lately LO will poop throughout the day...it is maddening! Today she had a thumb sized poop 5x!! Grrr...Why can't it all come out at once?
@junebugmama: does he ever try to poop on those other days?
@mrbee: Looking forward to the series. It seems like every time we introduce a new veggie, LO gets constipated. As someone who believes you should go daily, i get stressed when LO doesn't!

@caffeinated: Nope. He's not really constipated either. We do elimination communication as well, so I don't change that many poopy diapers either

Yes. I usually get a poo after her nap. Which is right now.
