My lo sleeps with her door closed and the white noise machine on. I open it when I go in for a feeding and then will leave it open. Sometimes (rarely) I open it when I go to bed.

Both are always closed with the white noise machines on. For nights, we leave them open a crack for a little more air circulation. For naps, I latch them so less house noise gets in.

Open! DS gets scared if the door is closed and we stopped using a baby monitor for DD.

We leave the door shut with a white noise machine on. Partly because we are always still up after them and partly because I'm worried about my cat going in there and bugging them!!

Open a crack so I can go in and out if I need without making a door opening/closing sound, unless the humidifier is going. If it is, I leave the door open a few inches.

White noise machine and door just barely cracked. We may have to start closing it and making sure it latches (I couldn't do it when we first broght her home - freaked me out for some reason) because our cat keeps nudging the door open looking for me. It was cute when she joined me for middle of the night nursing sessions. Not so cute now that LO is STTN.

It's shut with a white noise machine. She's a fairly light sleeper and it just lets her sleep better.

it's shut with white noise until we go to bed, then we open the door

day naps - open. night time - cracked. we keep it cracked because it makes a horrible loud click when it latches shut and it drives me crazy and makes me afraid he will wake up!
BUT sometimes our dog pushes his way in and gets stuck in there. he goes to sleep on the rug by the crib. lol...he's crazy.

Closed w white noise machine on. Otherwise dogs barking would wake her up constantly.
