My daughter's room is clean. My son has toys here and there. Their play area is very disorganized.

Almost! I straightened it up today, just a few more things to clean up tomorrow.

Actually, her room is usually clean! It's the only room in the house that generally stays clean though. It's so small that there's not much to make a mess of in there.

Yes, but he rarely plays in there and is only 10 months old. I'm not generally a "tidy" person (I have two piles: dirty and clean. nothing is ever hung up), but when it comes to my son and his toys I try to clean up every play space before we move on. I'm a freak about it, which is surprising!

Yes, always. We don't keep any toys or books in there though, just a bed, dresser and rocker.

Yes, I clean it every evening before she goes to bed! She's 13 months old and LOVES books more than anything. Most of her books are in her room so she spends a lot of time in there pulling them out and flipping through them. She's also at the stage where she loves pulling the folded clothes out from her baskets and strewing them about the floor..... I call her Hurricane Emily but I actually enjoy putting it all back together each evening!
Classic example of Hurricane Emily going about her day.....(she needed a rest after all that work!)
