I've been working from a cafe lately, but it seems like there are a lot less people working than usual! Was wondering if everyone's offices are emptying out yet, or if that starts next week.

My office is still busy, but I noticed that my commute has been much easier as well - so I think *some* people must be taking off!

My husband said his office is pretty empty because a lot of people are working from home or took vacation days these next couple weeks. Judging by how many people I am seeing at stores and the library compared to usual (and my facebook feed full of people on trips to NYC etc) during the day, I think there must be a lot of people taking off.

We have insane amounts of work this week (and for the next few weeks too). But lots of grant applications are due in early January so that is the norm around here this time of year.

December is a slow month for us.

Lots of people however not lots of activity
Seems most of our customers are leaving for the year. And a girl in my department leaves for maternity leave today (well it's her last day) so it's been a laid back day too as she's pretty much checked out.

Dead! Next two weeks are even worse, so I am glad I am taking off.
