My dog is quite old (16 in September), and while she is doing quite well, she's definitely developed some quirks in her old age. Recently, she's been hoarding her food (or rather, the other dog's food). It is pretty hilarious. Today, she shoved the other dog out of the way while he was eating, then pushed his bowl under the couch so he couldn't eat it. I guess she didn't think through how she would get it back out, ha.

Then last weekend, I shit you not, she pushed the bowl over to the living room rug, pulled back its corner, dumped out the food, and covered it back up with the rug. WTF.

Do your senior (or junior) pets do the same thing, or am I dealing with a case of doggy dementia??
