mine is ALWAYS full. I take a lot of videos, though..but so annoying. especially because my computer is up there, too, so to empty my phone I have to take stuff off my computer..sigh. first world problems.
I think next phone I'll splurge on more storage!

Yes! I have 64 gb but I take tons of pics. Right now I have 12,000 pics on my phone and I'm working on getting them over to DH's computer. It takes a ton of time because I get errors (I think because of large videos?) and it stalls the whole process. And every day I take more photos so I can't ever get on top of it!

I used to have this problem majorly but not anymore. I started using Google Drive to back up all my photos on my phone. It's amazingg! There is a google photos app. You back it all up from your phone and then the app makes it so easy to delete backed up copies from your phone that are older than 30 days. You can still access all the pics from your phone - but just through the Google photos app instead of your camera roll. Oh and it's free storage!

@buttermilk: Wow, I need to get this! Do you know how much storage you start out with? Is it connected to you google drive storage? I am almost to my capacity with that too, but maybe I need to just start buying space somewhere like that.

I just went from 32 to 64 a month ago... so much room but yeah it was always full before that... I had the 16 one before my 32... that was a nightmare. Yup first world problems.

@twodoghouse: yep it's connected to the Google drive storage. But maybe still worth it to upgrade! Finding time to update manually to my computer was always such a pain aka it never happened!

@Raindrop: I know! I never clean it off until it says I'm out of space and then I only take off a few pics to make room for new photos. It's out of control. My kids are just so cute I have to take pictures of everything they do every day! Haha!
@buttermilk: Yeah, I think it might be worth it! Google Drive is so convenient and easy to use that at least I'd know how to get around in the app. I've been trying to upload to DH's computer via OneDrive and it's driving me crazy. For some reason my phone doesn't talk to his computer well when I connect directly, and he refuses to put iTunes on his comp!

@twodoghouse: Do you have Amazon Prime? Unlimited photo storage is included if you do. And they have an app also (I have it and it automatically backs up everything).
I used to have a 16GB and it was always full. I went to upgrade to a 64GB but they only had the rose gold in 128GB so I got that one. I better never run out now!

@lawbee11: Yes, we have Amazon Prime. One time we tried backing up the photos on our computer and it failed halfway through and we could never get it to work again. Those were pics from my dslr though so they are huge. Maybe doing it from my phone would be faster/easier!

I used to, but not anymore. We have everything backed up to the cloud and a lot of my over 20,000 pics aren't full versions-- I can tap them and download them to my phone if I want to view the full version.

I have the 16 it's always full. I only have 100 pictures or so. Maybe 40-50 videos, barely any apps. It's a pain!

@twodoghouse: Haha I totally use to do that with my 16 GB ... delete just enough photos so I can take more. It was endless though! I know kids are just so cute!

my brother owns a wireless store.
I've got 5,000 photos and 240 videos. I've got pictures backed up on an external hard drive and on google drive, Dropbox, and Amazon!

@buttermilk: @808love: I downloaded it last night and I'm already impressed! It's gettin all my images up pretty quickly considering I have a ton. And I woke up and discovered it turned a bunch of batches of photos into animated gifs, which is pretty fun.

@twodoghouse: yes and making movies is so easy!! We actually pay for 100gb since we upload so many videos. I haven't done it yet but you can upload to shutterfly too. I love that they are stored in your Google Drive.
