I took mine out at the end of my first trimester. No desire to put it back in right now! And I doubt it would. If my body looks smoking in 8 years, ill probably re pierce it to cover up the scar

@Mrs. Jump Rope: Did you have any problems wearing it that whole time? Did you need new jewelry or anything?
I know I'm going to have to part with it at some point but it feels like a part of me now!

I voted "yes-with LO" even though I haven't put it back in yet. I told myself I had to earn it back.

@LindsayInNY: I could've worn mine the whole time if I wanted to. Only thing is the skin in between the holes gets real thin and stretched out. But my belly button never popped.. So if you are like me and get the ring caught on clothes a lot, I was too scared to rip the skin! I think I would've had the same worry with the pregnancy ring too.

I got mine pierced when I was 18. I left it in until I was in my mid-twenties and then decided I was too old for it, haha!

@LindsayInNY: I had a curved barbell in, and didn't have any issues until my belly button started to flatten and eventually popped out... But that wasn't until at least my third trimester. I got away with wearing the barbell until I was maybe 30-some weeks along, and then I took it out.
Chloe's 20 months old, and I still have a visible hole. I can't tell if its fully closed and I haven't tried to put any jewelry through either. I sort of forgot about it haha

@Mrs. Jump Rope: I'm not sure what I'm going to do with mine... My belly button looks so naked without it! I'll probably take it out and maybe try to put it back in down the road? But, like you said, I'll probably just forget about it. That's what has happened with other piercings.

Never did! But I've never liked my belly enough to want to adorn it with anything, maybe if I had I'd feel differently. But now I feel like I'm too old for one anyway. I will probably re pierce my nose at some point and just wear a small stud.

never did...but that's more because no one would ever see my belly since it's never been in piercing condition haha.

I got it piereced when I was 16 and took it out the day I found out I was pregnant. I had been wanting to take it out anyways, so it was the perfect reason!

I got mine done when I was really young, but it closed up after having it for 7 years when I took it out one time. That was before LO.

I got mine pierced when I was 19 and then around 24 or so I took it out and never bothered to put another one back in. I think at this point it's closed.

I got mine pierced when I was 15, but I took it out when I was 19 or 20. It always annoyed me. I'm 29 now, so it's been years since I took it out.

I ALMOST got one my senior year of high school, along with some friends. But for some reason, I changed my mind, and I'm kind of glad I did.

It was. Then it got infected. I got it pierced again and it got infected again. I took that as a sign.

I got mine pierced at 18 and took mine out at about 4 months pregnant this year at 27. There's no way I could've left mine in. If I can get my body back to pre-baby shape I may put it back in. I feel naked without it.
