Ditto!! Monday's are always so hard. Today is even harder cause I wish that I could have just held her to let her get sleep.

Agreed. I hate Mondays more than ever because I have to leave her happy little face

I'm the opposite! I love spending all weekend with the kids... but by Monday, I'm glad to drop them off at school/daycare!!

@smurfette: awww, I bet R would have loved that kind of sleep! I hate leaving C when it's time for him to go down for a nap
@bookish:
@mrbee: lol! Well you have 2, maybe that's different?
I think I'm extra sad today because I'm going through some drama with my family and my mom is watching LO today so it was all awkward when she came over this morning.

I feel the same as Mr. Bee! I am so pooped after the weekend's activities!

@cmomma17: maybe, or maybe I just have a cold heart!! I truly love the kids, but they also drain me of all life energy sometimes!! Hope things get better with your family soon!!
@looch: high five! For me, it's a combination of the activities and also, the whining/naughtiness!!

@mrbee: OMG! Me too! I love spending time with them on the weekend but come Monday I love having "adult" time at work!

Awww. I am still on maternity leave and while I love spending time with lo, I am starting to really miss my work and co-workers!

I think I have a cold heart too because come Monday I look forward to going to work so I can relax!

I wish our mornings weren't so rushed and that I had some time to linger and play with LO, but other than that I happy to drop him off at daycare and get to work. I think it's good for both of us! However, I can pick him up by 4pm so I know we'll have a few good hours of playtime in the afternoon which is perfect. It would be a lot harder if I worked longer hours.

@cmomma17: @Smurfette: @Bookish: Me too. We had such a great weekend at our house . . . all I want to do is stay home and play with BabyGloss.

@mrbee: I feel the same way too! I think it is more of a toddler/preschooler vs baby thing though. They are just so exhausting once they can run and climb stuff.

@cmomma17: YES! when he was tiny he would smile and wave when I left and now it's, "mama? mama? nooo.. mama!" ugh..
Mondays are the WORST. We had such a fun weekend. I just want to play with him all day today.

I'm so with you. I hate it. But that's how I feel pretty much five days a week.

I usually hate it, but having him throw a huge tantrum over a pacifier this morning makes me happy to be at work right now.

I do miss LO come Monday. It's nice to sleep in a bit and not have to worry about hustling and bustling out the door and making sure I have everything in the morning. Plus, it breaks my heart having to wake him up in the morning when he's sleeping so good!

I'm so glad my schedule is erratic enough that I can come home for a couple hours. It will be super hard when E goes into daycare!

I swing both ways
It depends on her mood:
If LO is sweet and silly and fun in the morning I am so sad to pack up for daycare.
If she is being extra naughty or whiney I keep checking the clock for when we can leave, lol!

I don't think it will ever get easier. She's 17 months and it just gets harder every day as she gets more and more fun to hang out with.

@mediagirl: They do, don't they! I was really sad about leaving the baby phase, but yanno, every day she is more fun, more adorable, more awesome. I had no idea kids were this much fun and so fanbloodytastic!

@MsLipGloss: no doubt. Yesterday she "talked" all the way to daycare. Then, she "talked" as we walked into daycare and as she started playing with the toys. I'm glad she's happy there and comfortable but man, I wanted to stay and play with her because she looked like she was having so much fun!

@mediagirl: I was thinking the same thing this morning. This morning, B grabbed my hand, walked me around the classroom, and handed me toys. When I went to leave, he yelled, ran to me, grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. He waved goodbye and say "bye" and his friends said "Bye Bn Bn". His little face crumbled when I had to remove my hand and leave him there. Rough morning.

@mediagirl: @MsLipGloss: It took him until 17.5 months to go through separation anxiety.. and man it's a beeyotch... kills.me.every.single.time
