I saw this late yesterday over on WB, and am very saddened by it. I hope they all rest in peace, and that they are somewhere together now.

I saw this on WB yesterday and couldn't stop thinking about it all day. I feel so sad for their family and friends...it was such a happy time in their lives with the wedding and baby Definitely made me hold my husband a little tighter last night. I hope they rest in peace together.

How utterly tragic. Can't even begin to imagine how their family is feeling right now.
Losing someone close suddenly is never easy...

sigh. can't stop thinking about this... this is why i don't want to travel on an airplane with the whole family. if the airplane goes down, the whole family goes down. so so so so so sad that a whole family was lost to this tragic incident. what gets me is why are they snowmobiling so late at night? =( and why is there no rail to block the embankment?

May they Rest In Peace

@tequiero21: The article mentions that some of them were familiar with the terrain, so maybe that's why they were traveling at night. I don't think a rail would stop four snowmobiles.
My thoughts have literally been with PennyLaine's family for the whole morning... what a tragedy.

@mrbee: yeah i read that. and i don't think rails would have stopped 4 snowmobiles, but if i were riding on one and saw a rail, i'd definitely turn before i hit it. they ran right into the embankment because there was nothing to let them know there was one.... sounds very dangerous and i hope they put one up.

This is such a horrific tragedy words cannot even express. Families lost their daughter, sons, grandchild, and their son/daughter in law..I pray for their family to find strength in this. Although I didnt know her personally, things like this really hit home now that I am a mom.
