It's been a while since LO has been by himself at night for bedtime. My husband has been camping in his room for the longest time. Tonight, my husband is away on business and LO didn't want me in his room, so he's just playing with his toys right now. I hope he'll fall asleep on his own at some point.

I think I would. I have a hard enough time getting DD to sleep most nights, so I need to let her know that it's sleepy time, not play time.

If my son played in his room by himself, I would be so tempted to just let him be and see if he goes to bed on his own! But I guess eventually I would go in if it was really late and he wasn't going to bed on his own.
