    @yellowbeach: Such amazing news. You SO deserve it lady. Are you feeling on cloud nine...or like you want to vomit? Hahahaha

    @Mrs. Pajamas: A bit of both. Just still so shocked to be here in the BFP club... trying not to count my chickens before they hatch though... all the emotions you can imagine.

    Well my second beta was 357. It’s within the normal range but I’m still worried. I go back for a third beta on Friday

    @Marfi: 110-357? I think that's great! 9dp5dt and 11dp5dt, correct?

  19. Marfi

    clementine / 794 posts

    @yellowbeach: it’s from 9dpt (Friday) to 14dpt.

    @Marfi: Oh that's right... the rise is a tad less steep than average, but you are definitely at viable HCG levels! When will you have another beta?

  21. Marfi

    clementine / 794 posts

    @yellowbeach: I’ll go in on Friday. The nurse said not to worry because they are still within normal ranges but it’s hard especially given that last time it was a much steeper increase.

    @Marfi: thinking good thoughts for you! It’s hard, I have been there. I was just reading today that the first rise is sometimes slower but then it picks up.

  23. LAZB

    pomegranate / 3904 posts

    @Marfi: those are great numbers imo!

    Whelp, it’s not good news. Today’s beta was down to 178. I'll go back at the start of my next cycle or next Friday (which ever comes first) to see if I'm back down to zero yet. If I am, I can move right in to this next cycle, otherwise, I'll have to wait a month.

    @Marfi: Do you have an appointment today? Thinking of you

  36. Marfi

    clementine / 794 posts

    @yellowbeach: No appointment, just a blood draw this morning to check levels. This morning it was at a 7 which is great! That means that I am tentatively on the board for a transfer on November 6th! Technically the lab doesn't consider it "negative" unless it's 5 or less but because it's 7 they gave me the go ahead to start meds and I'll go back next Friday to confirm that it's negative but given how fast it dropped the nurse doesn't think there will be any issue.

    @LAZB: None of our embryos were PGS tested, we didn't test last time (when we had our son) and my doctor thought it was unnecessary to test this time (as only a little more than a year had passed since my first retrieval and I'm only 31) so we decided not to.

    @Marfi: well that’s about the best news you could get in this situation so that’s good. So glad this isn’t setting you back a cycle.

    So just a little extra detail from todays US appointment with my RE... I asked him "So... what do you think?" wondering if he was going to give credit to the ERA or what... and he just said, "well, it's an N of 1." And I just wanted to say and yeah, that N is VERY important since it's me, or maybe the next lady... #rantover
