@yellowbeach: haha we always said our future kids were "on a ski vacation" (aka the freezer at our fertility clinic storage center). When DD2 asks where she was when she sees photos before she was born we say "skiing in the alps"

Went for my scan and blood work this morning, no lead follicle so all good there. My lining is already at 11, so I think my transfer will be moved up a week. They are supposed to call me with instructions after they get the blood work this afternoon

@yellowbeach: Well, my nurse called me back and wanted to make my transfer for Wednesday or Thursday, but after I said something about today only being CD 8, she said that she’s going to have to look over things and call me back. I think I’m just ahead of schedule and it’s throwing her off. I’ll come back when I have my actual dates, but I think it’ll probably be Thursday or Friday

Ok, heard back. I had called two weeks ago when I thought I was starting AF, but it was actually only spotting for another week after that. When I went today, they were looking at my initial calendar, but then when they realized that I am actually only on CD8, we are going to do another lining check next week and then transfer the following week, I’m thinking the 7th.

@yellowbeach: tomorrow is the day!!!! So excited for you!
Question for everyone: do you still ovulate when on a medicated FET? My ovaries are more bloated and achy then my retrieval cycle, but I haven’t been taking opks

@LAZB: Not supposed to - the higher estrogen is supposed to prevent it, but it's not impossible!

@skiierchck99: thanks! Looks like my body is just trying to be difficult, I talk to the doctors office and the nurse thinks it’s not an issue since I started my progesterone, but she’s doublechecking with the doctor.

@LAZB: Usually when I go in for lining checks they look at my ovaries to make sure they are "doing nothing." I think that's what really matters rather than your LH level.

@yellowbeach: When I went in on Friday they said I had no lead follicle, but they did want me to do the transfer this Friday as opposed to next week because they said they thought I might ovulate by then. So I guess quiet -ish ovaries?
Now my son just puked on me so I’m scared I’ll get sick this week, ahhhhhhh!

@yellowbeach: I’m trying to relax about it. Maybe this is the universe telling me it’s not my month?

@yellowbeach: hope you’re all done and it went great!
My progesterone came back at 30.5, so it looks like I did ovulate on my own, but the timing is perfect! We are on for Friday!

All done! Beta on 10/10.
On a fun note, my RE got a new microscope camera that they have hooked up to the TV in the transfer room. I was able to see the three embryos being loaded from the dish into the pipette. Video link below.

@yellowbeach: that’s soooo cool! I’m so excited for you! Do you think you’ll wait for your beta this time? I’m already debating how many days I think I will hold out lol

Well I’m still a bit early (7dpt) but I tested yesterday and today and got positive tests! I called in and got them to move me beta up to Friday so I’m cautiously optimistic but I’m gonna wait until then to be super excited!

@yellowbeach: That video is so cool!
@LAZB: Fingers crossed for you!
@Marfi: Eeep!!

@LAZB: my short term goal is not to test until Monday morning (6dp5dt) since I am going to be camping Fri-Sun and POAS in that bathroom is well, ick. I’d like to wait til Tuesday, but that’s ambitious.
clementine / 794 posts
@yellowbeach: You can do it, wait til Monday! I took a test on Monday (5dpt) and it was stark white I didn’t even get my super mega squinter until yesterday (6dpt).

@Marfi: yay! Congratulations!
@foodiebee: thank you!
@yellowbeach: sounds very reasonable when you test it will make me so tempted! My goal is Wednesday (5dp)

Did y’all take baby aspirin and did it make you bp low? Not sure if it’s worth a call to the doc
clementine / 794 posts
@LAZB: I will be but I haven’t started it yet (my last pregnancy I had preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome so they are gonna have me take it this time)
nectarine / 2648 posts
@LazB: Aspitin should not affect your blood pressure.
@Marfi: I had HELLP and severe preE too so would also need aspirin if I get my BFP.

@yellowbeach: hmmm, it was 89/59 today when I took it, I just assumed it was the aspirin. I feel a little better now, so I assume it’s normal again. My norm is 95-105/65-75

Had my beta this morning! My level was 110! I'm super excited about my level, it's higher than with my last pregnancy and a day earlier than when it was taken last time!

Didn’t get a cute little print out, but did get to see our embryo on a big screen! Transfer went great, I couldn’t believe how fast it is!
The first embryo they defrosted didn’t make it through the thaw, so this is the second. Fingers crossed for little “Elsa”!

Ugh, I just SCREAMED at my kids because they were trying to kill each other in the bath and now I feel bad for yelling and I feel like I killed the embryo I know it's not super rational, but I'm hormonal

So you probably saw on the POAS but got a at 5days post transfer. So here’s my question though - if today is 5 days after transfer (Oct 1)and we transferred 6 day blasts (all three were) but did it on the same day we’d usually transfer (5DPO) do you say you are 5dp5dt or 5dp6dt? Trying to figure out due date since these were 6 day blasts. I think it’s my birthday!
pomegranate / 3809 posts
@yellowbeach: I'd say still 5dp5dt cause they are supposed to be blast by day 5 (that's how my RE calculated duedate too).
clementine / 794 posts
I think you would be 5dp6dt. Because if it were a 3 day embryo it would be #dp3dt. Plus at 6 days it would be closer to hatching than a 5 day so it would theoretically be closer to implanting then a 5 day. From your POAS post your line looks really similar to mine on 6dp5dt (both would be 11dpo if it were a non IVF cycle).
