Had my last beta yesterday and it was zero so I got the go ahead to continue planning for a November 6th transfer!

We are go for transfer on Wednesday (the 6th)! It was still up in the air until today. Last Wednesday, I had my lining check US and while I had a trilaminar lining, there was a scant amount of fluid in my uterus so I had a followup today to see if the fluid was gone, and it was!

@Marfi: The fluid thing happened to me once or twice around transfers 8 or 9.. I remember being so freaked out bc I'd heard that could cancel your cycle. Fortunately it often goes away. Glad yours did, too!

@yellowbeach: My August cycle was
cancelled because of fluid so I kinda expected it to happen again. Iโm thrilled it cleared up this time!

I tested today and yesterday and both were negative. Iโm trying to stay positive since Iโm only 6dp5dt today. Weโll see what tomorrow brings!

@yellowbeach: Thanks! Still negative today. I think itโs looking like this one didnโt take. Oh well!

We officially got a BFN last week when I had my beta. We have decided to try and fit in one more transfer before the end of the year. Temporarily scheduled for 12/11!

@Marfi: Just checking in to see how your cycle is going. Holiday meant less monitoring? Whenโs your next appointment?

@yellowbeach: I generally only have one appointment unless they see something weird on the lining check ultrasound next week (which is good because itโs an hour drive to the REโs office)!

Thought this could be of interest. Is still early in the human studies. BUT a team of researchers have found a link between the zinc reserves in a human egg (that literally creates a flash of light when a sperm makes contact) has a direct correlation to the health and viability of the egg.
They have developed a way to photograph the egg under certain filters and determine the size of the zinc reserves, which in turn can grade the egg.

We are all set for our third transfer tomorrow! Up until today it was still up in the air since I had some fluid in my lining at my appointment last week!

@yellowbeach: Everything went well! My progesterone was a bit low (14.something should have been over 17 ideally) so they had me start doing vaginal progesterone in addition to the shots and today it was 26.something so we're all good!

@Marfi: Will you make it til Wed to POAS or cave like I always do?

@Marfi: Double! Double! Double! (we are all saying all the IVF chants for you )

@yellowbeach: hopefully it more than doubles, I donโt go back for a week (because they want to torture me!)

@Marfi: Looks like that long wait for beta #2 was so worth it!!! Will you do a 3rd, or just schedule an ultrasound?

Hi ladies, just thought I'd officially join this board, but I don't have much to contribute yet (unless anyone wants specific lab results or semen analysis numbers :silly:)
Just made our appointment with the fertility specialist for March 5, so until that and the urology appointment for DH on 2/6, I feel like I'm twiddling my thumbs as time flies by which is super frustrating.
So hi!
