I had my monitoring appointment today and have my IUI on Friday. Then we have a follow up with the RE in early Oct to plan for IVF! I'm actually more excited about that because a) the odds for IVF are so much better and b) this thread is crazy lucky right now and I hope it rubs off!

@Shutterbug: Even though IVF is such a scary step, I felt the same way once we decided to do it. Like we could ACTUALLY get pregnant for the first time ever. I hope your IUI cycle works, but if not the IVF ladies will always be here for you!

@Shutterbug: @twodoghouse: me too! Never thought I'd ever do ivf. Then the day came when we decided to do it. Then, we were in it. Now, we are enjoying our lil ones and I can't believe time has flown by so quickly. And I feel the same excitement hearing u guys go thru it. Actually, more so. When I was going thru it, I was just filled with worry, but with u guys, I just feel darn excited!

I finally have an update to post!!! Today is CD1! I have never been so excited for CD1!!! This means that I had to call my RE and got my calendar for my FET cycle!!! We are doing a natural FET cycle, so hopefully my body decides to cooperate! Right now it looks like my ET will be between October11th and 16th! I really hope some of the good luck that's been on this board recently continues!

Got my second beta results and I am happy! In 48 hours, the numbers definitely doubled. I was at 72 on Tuesday and am at 175 today!

@twodoghouse: My #s are a little higher than average but not extremely high. It's enough that I am wondering about twins. Do you know what your numbers were?
Any other twin mamas know what your early betas were?

@kentuckygirl: 10/14 will be here so soon! My first beta (10dp3dt) was 138 and my second (47 hours later) was 300. At the time I thought we had a singleton because they didn't seem that high or quick doubling compared to some of the stories I read online. But sure enough, two healthy babies in there! After my ultrasound on Monday, my doctor actually mentioned that he suspected twins from my bloodwork because it was higher than average. So maybe both your embryos took too!

@meganmp: Thank you! I'm still too nervous that something will go wrong to commit to a name change, but maybe once we hit the second trimester.
I'm going to have to mosey on over to the multiples threads one of these days and start really figuring out how we're going to do this twin thing. We're still in the honeymoon period of just finding out, haha.
