Jam. My aunt makes jam for Christmas presents. Every year, we get tons of it now for three years. Sometimes, there's special requests in our family for more because they go through it so fast.

I hate them all! They creep me out and make me want to gag...seriously. I won't even eat something that uses them as the ingredients.

Jelly is usually made with fruit juice and does not have any chunks/pieces of fruit in it.
Jam is usually made from fruit cooked with sugar - it can have bits/pulp in it, but not pieces/chunks of fruit.
Preserves are usually fruit cooked with sugar to the point where large chunks of fruit, or whole fruit, such as berries, are suspended in a syrup base.

I like them all. I like jelly on a PB&J sandwich, jam on toast/english muffin/etc, and I usually prefer preserves to cook or bake with.
