@MrsB2012: yes, I know sometimes you do, but then some don't so if I get a negative I get a bit of a crazy-inducing few days on my hands... so we'll see
My husband probably won't want me to test, and I might get him to hide my tests until 12 DPO

@MrsB2012: On days when I work, I feed twice and pump twice, although I'm going to cut down to once while at work next week. When I'm at home she feeds on demand, but I am going to try to give her a bottle at least once a day starting tomorrow and increase over the next couple of weeks

@artsyfartsy: @litebrite: @mrsb2012: Thanks girls!! CD12 and I think I'm right on track for an O around CD 19/20! I feel lots of twinges and starting to get some CM!
FX and for lots of BFP's this weekend!
I think 10DPO is a good time to test, still early to not get discouraged by a BFN, but enough time to build up some good hormones!

@narwhal: I made a deal with my husband to not test until Saturday (12 dpo). It wasn't clear whether cheapies were included in that deal, or just the expensive tests

@QBbride: I think that's what I'll do!! I'm really really hoping for a BFP tomorrow. I feel like this whole cycle has been so long.

So for anyone that's been following my saga.... Went to a new obgyn today (we moved since I had B). He was AMAZING! Turns out he also suffers from Hashimotos and gave me a pep talk about my crappy thyroid labs. He said that my body knew it was not the best time to get pregnant and told me to give my new med dosage a month or too to get back on track and that he's sure he will see me in there with a BFP within the next 3-5 months.
I'm not as optimistic as him, but he put me in a much better mood. He also said I would be a great VBAC candidate which is good too! Really happy I went today. Even with the Pap smear!

@wheres_c: that's so good to hear. It's great when a Dr truly understands when you're going through something. That sounds very promising about that new medication. Do you keep trying while the new med kicks in? Or do you wait a month or so and then start trying again?
pomelo / 5789 posts
@MrsB2012: well the medication has thrown off ovulation and AF so there's not much point "trying". I'm guessing that by next month things will be back to normal, but I'll prob wait for my next set of labs.

@wheres_c: Horray for a good appt. It's awesome that you found a dr that you seem to click with well!
I caved today and tested at ~9dpo...bfn; but it could still be early since I don't actually know when I o'd. Atleast now I may have the resolve to hold out until AF is actually due to test again.

@wheres_c: I'm glad you had a good apt, and I hope your dr is right about 3-5 months
I'm waiting until tomorrow to test, which I feel good about. The only symptom I have right now is mild nausea, which is also a PMS symptom for me. I'm cautiously optimistic though.

10dpo and I caved and used both kinds of tests this morning. Nothing on the cheapie but I swear I see a squinter. DH doesn't think so. It's a bad pic and I could just be crazy though.
This was after 2 minutes of taking the test. Ignore my spilled makeup on the counter

@artsyfartsy: after staring at it I definitely see a shadow of the line. I wouldn't quite call it a yet, but I think it's a good sign that appeared within the test timeframe . Definitely test again a day or two!!!

@Litebrite: I feel like I really see it but I just can't get excited about it which is probably good. I'm really going to try and skip testing tomorrow.

@artsyfartsy: I kind of see it! Fingers crossed, ahhh!!!
So, I tested this morning at 13 dpo--the test was pretty much the poster child for BFNs . I'm about 99.9% sure I'm out this month. Baby #2 has officially taken longer to conceive than baby #1. I know it's still early, but that feels discouraging! Oh well, good luck to the rest of you--I'll be sending BFP wishes your way!

@babypugs: Thank you! I'm hoping this is it and I hope you get your BFP soon!

@babypugs: I'm sorry. I hope you get baby #2 soon. Baby #2 has been considerably harder for us. It's tough

Here's another angle just for fun before I drop it forever. I've heard the new FRERs are causing false positives so that makes it even more of a bummer. I'm going to just forget about it til Sunday.

@artsyfartsy: Save your eyes! Step away from the squinter and retest this weekend! I'm sure there is something there, but I'm also pretty sure it's impossible to tell if it means anything at this point. I truly hope you get a punch-you-in-the-face- next time!

@Litebrite: It's now in the trash and the pics are deleted from my phone.

@artsyfartsy: I've been following you on here. In your first pic I see a test line. In the second I don't but in the second I see a weird thin line after the control line. Is that there in person?
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
@littleblessings: I threw the test away so I can't tell now but I don't think there was. It might be the lighting in the picture

@combatlibby: Sorry!!
@artsyfartsy: I feel like I can see a little something in the first picture you posted too. Test again this weekend!! It's still pretty early yet I'm in the same boat....going to try and hold off til Monday though. But I'm out of tests, so that makes it way easier!
nectarine / 2466 posts
@artsyfartsy: on my phone I couldn't see anything. On my computer, if I tilt my screen back, I can see it in the first, and the blown up pic. I wouldn't call it a positive yet, but it's definitely promising, fingers crossed for you !!!
@combatlibby: bummer, I'm sorry to hear that. See you in Feb.
@artsyfartsy: are you gonna test again tomorrow ?
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
@MrsB2012: I really want to wait until Sunday. If I get another super squinter like today I may just lose my mind. Lol.

Cycle Day: 12
TTC Cycle #:2
Ovulation & POAS date: jan 17 & Feb 1st
Your plan this month: BD during my fertile time and hope for the best.been eating healthy and taking prenatals, and trying not to think about it too much because stress does affect fertility. hoping for BFP
nectarine / 2466 posts
@artsyfartsy: not to encourage testing if you're trying to hold off... but I got super super squinters (on cheapies and FRERs) and then the next day had clear lines on the FRER for both my pregnancies. (but everyone is different)
@WifeMama24: welcome, good luck this month
cantaloupe / 6692 posts
I caved and tested this morning. Exactly the same as yesterday. There's a squinter I can see but only if I look hard enough. So I guess a BFN? My period is supposedly due tomorrow so we'll see. I don't have anymore pregnancy tests now so I'm going to wait on AF to show.

@artsyfartsy: I came on here this morning just to see if you had an update! FX that AF stays far, far away.

@artsyfartsy: that's annoying that it didn't get any darker this morning. Hang in there, and give it a few more days
