    Well no AF yet today and no cramps. I'm surprised. But since I don't know my official O date and my cycle kind of varies that doesn't mean much. I'm pretty sure I O'd at CD15 but it's possible that I did on CD16 or CD17. If I have another 11 day LP it could come in the next two days.

    So including all options...I'm either 10, 11, or 12dpo today. I'm still just going to wait on AF to show.

    @artsyfartsy: did you retest?

  11. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @BandDmommy: Nope I'm going to try and wait on AF. I edited my post above. I'm not 100% sure of my O date. I could be two days off (I don't THINK so but it's possible.)

    If no AF by Tuesday I'll retest.

    AF still hasn't showed. Trying not to let that make me optimistic since it could just mean I ovulated later than I thought or my LP is a little longer this month.

    I have one cheapie test left to use in the morning if AF still hasn't come.

    @Litebrite: yayy congratulations!!

    @artsyfartsy: I hope you get your positive!!

    I am feeling all the symptoms at 8dpo and just trying to remain cautiously excited. Last month I let myself get carried away with my confidence and getting a visit from AF was nearly soul crushing. So, I'm constantly reminding myself that I'm feeling progesterone right now regardless of the outcome, and I'll know by this weekend whether or not there is a little bean in there growing. I am already aching to test... and would like to make it past 10dpo, but I think there is a good chance I might cave on Wednesday. My husband has practice Wednesday morning and I can test while he isn't home that way if it's a positive I can surprise him when he comes home (about as long as I can wait) instead of him listening to me pee far too early. I would ideally like to wait until Friday/Saturday.

    @narwhal: I've been there! Totally convinced I'm pregnant and then AF arrives earlier than expected and crushes my dreams.

    FX for you!!!

    Still no period this morning. I took a test and its negative..? I think?

    I think I maybe see something but at 14dpo I think I should be past the squinter stage. Time to do more waiting. I think I may go crazy.

    Here's the pic of the maybe line just for fun.

    @artsyfartsy: Do you have a FRER?

  22. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @BandDmommy: Nope. I purposefully let myself run out of tests. Lol

    If my period doesn't show today I'll have DH pick up some on the way home from work and I'll test again in the morning.

    @artsyfartsy: Wow, I agree you need to use FRERs until you get a good line. These squinters are so cruel! What brand is the one you took this morning?

  26. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @Litebrite: Yeah no joke! I'm the squinter queen. I used to think any line you see is a positive but I don't believe that at all anymore. Haha. It's going to have to be a blaring, blazing pink line or a digi to make me believe.

    First Signal I think? They're the Walmart version of dollar store tests. As much as I don't trust squinters, I definitely don't trust squinters on these. I've taken quite a few the last two cycles and they give evaps and indents a lot. I was just hoping at one point I could get a pretty purple line for .88 cents but that's not happening. Haha This was my last one and not buying anymore.

    @artsyfartsy: I'm a squinter queen and kinda see something too. I vote rapid result instead of the curved test. The curve ones seem to give indents too. Good luck!!

  28. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @winniebee: Yeah I got two weird squinters on the curved ones that I think were indents.

    @litebrite: Congrats!! Woo Hoo! Now instead of torturing ourselves with the tww, we can torture ourselves with the month long wait until the first Doctor visit!

    @artsyfartsy: for a tomorrow!

    I'm joining this thread pretty late but I wanted to have somewhere to talk about this as I try hard not to obsess too much.

    Cycle Day: 14
    TTC Cycle #: 2
    Ovulation & POAS date: POAS around 2/2 maybe
    Baby #: 2
    Your plan this month: Try not to stress, I've just started the process (this is our second cycle for this baby).

    @artsyfartsy: ahh I think a see a squinter! Your O day must be off though?!

  32. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @QBbride: It could be off by two days I think...so I could be 12dpo or 13dpo. I typically get my period on 12dpo though and so far no sign of AF.

  33. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @winniebee: Are the rapid results as sensitive as the curved ones?

  34. winniebee

    hostess / wonderful grape / 20803 posts

    @artsyfartsy: no, less, but they progress more drally it seems and i haven't heard of any false positive. I hate the new curved ones.

  35. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    @winniebee: Ah. Well DH just texted and said they didn't have them so he got the curved ones. I'll just have to hope another stupid squinter isn't in my future.

    I think I'll take one when he gets home. I would think at this point I should get a solid line (like, I'm-not-the-only-one-to-see-it-solid ) on a sensitive test.

    And if it's negative I'm going to throw in the towel for this cycle.

  36. artsyfartsy

    cantaloupe / 6692 posts

    Aaaaand....negative. At least it was stark white this time

    @winniebee: @BandDmommy: @Litebrite: Thank you all. This stinks. I'm so confused and in limbo. Unless my period is still late by the weekend I'm done for this cycle and going to assume AF will be here any minute.

    I'm not counting myself out completely yet or being a crybaby. I just need to step away from the testing and the squinters and the symptoms! Lol
