    @madisonbee: that's where I am too. I'm 70% sure I did but if I didn't, oh well.
    If my CM turns creamy tomorrow I'll know I did!

    @bizwitch: you experienced ovulation pain this cycle right? I think I remember you saying it lasted a while?

  7. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

    @mrskansas: Yes I did. It lasted about 12-16 hours if I recall correctly. I do not always have O cramping, but maybe every fourth cycle I will have it. It makes sense that I would have it this cycle since I took Clomid and got acupuncture and O was hopefully more robust - could have even dropped two eggs!

    Well I have an ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow afternoon because of my spotting/pain. Hopefully nothing is wrong and I just experienced a really weird ovulation but I guess I will know tomorrow.

    @madisonbee: I'm only 6 DPO and already ready to know if this is our cycle! Feeling really hopeful bc of Clomid and really obvious ovulation signs + good timing. But don't want to get TOO hopeful and then be let down if AF shows.

    @mrskansas: Glad you are getting checked out, but sorry you are experiencing bleeding and pain.
    @bizwitch: Good luck this month, starting treatments got me really hopeful and then a bigger crash and burn when I got my BFN, so I really hope that doesn't happen for you
    Not sure whats going to happen for me this month since I cannot take any meds but I avoided BC I don't know when to start using OPKs or having sex since the earliest I have ever ovulated naturally was CD17 but on meds its CD14 and of course I had plenty of cycles at CD 20-27. I also don't have super high hopes for this cycle since its unmedicated and I have cysts, but at the same time I don't want to give up on it either. I hope you all don't mind me still being here even though I will POAS in feburary, there isn't a group yet

    CD18 and finally had EWCM and a darker OPK this morning. Hoping for a positive this afternoon! Temps are still looking good too. This is all pretty overwhelming.

    @Mrs. Cotton Candy: congratulations!!

    @mrskansas: good luck at your appointment!!

    @snarkybiochemist: Always welcome here! Sorry things are shitty.

    I know it's in the realm of "relax and it will happen" but I suggest starting the February thread. It "worked" for banana330 and hopefully for me... Cause ya know, starting an internet thread causes ovulation and raises progesterone. Obviously.

    @knittylady: I was trying to decide if I could keep up with a whole thread and also keep contributing if I got a negative (or a positive if I want to be optimistic)

    @bizwitch: Crossing my fingers for you. 6dpo-10dpo feels like the worst!

    @Synchronicity: Whoohoo! Get it, girl!

    My OPK this morning was faint. Again. My gut tells me I already O'd. Bleh.

    Here are my OPKs from today... First one at 7:30 with FMU and second from just now at 12:30. Feeling good about the lines! Will test once more this evening and again tomorrow for good measure and BD daily for the next few days.

    When do you ladies starting POASing?

    In the past I've waited until the day AF was due but might start earlier this month. Just to torture myself.

  31. jhd

    coconut / 8079 posts

    @bizwitch: I usually set my poas date for the day AF is due and occasionally test a day or two before. Really it depends how hopeful I am feeling! I'm not a super early tester.

  32. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

    @bizwitch: I would start at 12 DPO, but not any earlier.

    @bizwitch: LOL! Aren't you supposed to be distracted this week, lady?!

  35. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

    @bizwitch: Yeah I say that but I start testing at like 8 DPO......

  36. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

    @madisonbee: Ha yeah... that's clearly not working so well. I'm at work and easily distracted from that to think about TTC.

  37. mrskansas

    nectarine / 2813 posts

    @bizwitch: When I'm home I don't have any problems staying busy, but when I'm sitting at work, on a computer for 8+ hours a day, it gets bad.

  38. Mrs. Oreo

    pear / 1677 posts

    @mrskansas: @bizwitch: Haha! I've never waited to POAS. I usually started at 8dpo, which is why I got the cheapies.

  39. dominobee

    pear / 1553 posts

    @mrskansas @madisonbee: I will say that I did not think about it a ton all weekend, but was helping one friend demo her basement all day Saturday and then hung out with friends all day Sunday. I'm off work Wed. & Thurs. for my bday and to hang w/ my friend who's in town, so that will hopefully be distracting enough!

    Anecdote: On Sat. when helping with demo I stepped on a rusty nail. Couldn't recall my last tetanus shot so I went to urgent care on Sun. morning to get one. She asked if there was a chance I could be pregnant and I (gleefully) said yes. But then she said that the tetanus vaccine is actually not contra-indicated for pregnancy so they wouldn't do a pregnancy test on me before administering. I don't know that anything would have shown up anyway because it's probably too soon for implantation. But anyway, she also said that pregnant women are encouraged to get the a tetanus shot. So that's out of the way if I do get pregnant in the next few months!

    @madisonbee: Yes I have cheapies at home! The best.
