For those people, like me, who have felt like Jessica Simpson has been pregnant FOREVER, she finally had that baby! Haha. I don't normally follow celebrity stuff but honestly, I've felt bad for her and all the negative attention she has received.

I agree with the finally comments, she definetely used this pregnancy as a way to get as much attention as possible! I wonder how long it will take her to sell pictures? Sadly I"m thinking within a couple weeks!

haha... I feel so bad for her, too. She announced her pregnancy at the end of October so she did announce a little early, but she's been pregnant the same amount of time as every other woman! haha. Poor girl. She's gone through the same length of time and gained weight and changed just like everyone else and has to deal with everyone bashing her! I guess if I were her I'd just stay in and avoid everyone

Aww, well good for her. I'm wishing her luck. I can't wait to see pics of the baby.

I just read that she had her baby girl, Maxwell, who weighed 9lbs, 13oz.
I think she just announced early which made it feel like she was pregnant longer than other celebs. I felt like Hilary Duff was pregnant for what seemed like a long time too.

I just saw that she named her Maxwell Drew. I'm not really a fan. She was a big baby though! 9lbs 13 oz!

@PBandBaseball: dude. Maxwell Drew? Really? They had a girl, right?

@PBandBaseball: just saw your post!
Seriously, I thought Hilary Duff was pregnant forever too!!

@mediagirl: @Sweet T: I feel like giving traditionally boy names to girls has become sort of trendy. I like some of them but I'm not sure about Maxwell Drew. I think I read that they were family names, so whatever makes them happy. I'm sure she'll get some strange looks on the first day of school when the teacher is expecting a boy!

I think I read somewhere that the name had something to do with her husband's family.
9lbs, 13oz, wow!

@PBandBaseball: haha actually, if she goes to school with a bunch of other celebrity kids, I bet hers will be more on the normal side!!! HA!

@mediagirl: haha. That's a really good point. At least it's an actual name and not a made up word. I prefer traditional names but I try not to judge the names that others choose for their kids. Some of them are just super odd though.

Finally! Now let's see how long the media will give her before attacking her post-partum body and her subsequent weight loss.

Finally! Not a fan of Maxwell Drew though. She's a girl! Could've at least given her a girlie middle name.

I think Max is a cute name for a girl... but we call our daughter Charlie (Charlotte) so... lol
I got stupidly massive when I was pregnant too. Her baby still wasn't as big as my 10lb8oz little beast!

Drew is her mom's maiden name, and Maxwell's a family name on his side. I like family names, but the combo is a little too masculine for my own tastes. Plus I can't get past the maxi pad association with them calling her Maxie!

I didn't even know she was pregnant until a couple of weeks ago when I found out here. Congrats to her!

@rattles: I agree that Maxwell Drew is way masculine.

I don't like it at all... Too boyish.
There were a lot of conspiracy theories about her pregnancy and birth. The craziest one I heard yesterday was that she miscalculated the date and was now waiting the surrogate out.
Please, she was massive... There is no way that was fake.
Why do people assume that celebrities like Jessica and Beyonce use surrogates? And why is it any of our darn business?

I am so happy for her! It seems like she was pregnant forever!!! I think Maxwell Drew is pretty masculine but Max is a cute name for a girl...I read Maxi was a possible nickname but it just reminds me of Maxi Pad

I like Max for a girl, but did think it was weird when I first heard Maxwell.
