I would love to hear advice from those who own jogging strollers...we went the carseat and snap and go route at the beginning and that was great.
LO is now 6 months and growing like a weed so we need a new stroller soon. I would like to get one stroller for walks and runs and errands. We looked at the BOB but had a hard time justifying the price. We registered for the joovy zoom instead. Now i am worried that the joovy wont last as long and the BOB is on sale at amazon....
any advice?

The Bob is amazing!!!!! We got one because I wanted tO shed some more weight. Ended up getting pregnant with #2 shortly after we bought it though...
so now I take walks with Lo. I love it so much. It rides so smoothly.

Love the BOB. If you are going to use it a lot, it's worth it.

I LOVE the bob! It was one of our baby essentials. It's well made and so easy to push around everywhere (not just for exercising, but walking in the city, in shopping areas, on the beach, etc).

Bob is totally worth it!! Check craig's list too! They hold up so well that I wouldn't hesitate to buy one used. We actually did buy one used from my husband's cousin.

I couldn't justify the pricetag either, especially for a stroller I wouldn't use everyday. So I went with a cheap Baby Trend one and I love it! It is so smooth and turns on a dime

I have LOVED my BOB, but I wouldn't pay full price for it (well, because I don't like to pay full price for anything!). I posted earlier, but I bought my BOB stroller at a scratch and dent sale at REI for $170. They hold up really well, so if you went the secondhand route, you would still get a ton of life out of it!

Thanks, ladies! It is nice to hear that those of you who have them feel it is worth the price....I would love to get one used but in spite of stalking them on craigslist I haven't seen one for less than $300 and they are $340 at the moment at amazon....
@BabyBoecksMom: do you use the babytrend for jogging? or just walking? I had heard good things about it for walking but DH is planning to take LO running so I would like one that you can jog with.

@MamaCate: we got our bob on amazon for around that much! It was on sale. I have the revolution in orange and LOVe it!! I'm all about quality and getting what you pay for. If your DH is going to jog with your Lo regularly, you should invest in the Bob! It's worth it!!

My sister has one and loves it. She is an avid runner, since I'm not it wouldn't really be worth it to me.
She got it at REI using their discount (you sign up to be a member and save 20% or something like that?!) and doesn't regret it at all. -
@MamaCate: I looked at the Joovy Zoom, but ended up with a Baby Jogger Summit. I picked that over the BOB because of the changes to the 2011 model. I saw them both in person at Buy Buy Baby. The BOB moved the safety strap to the handle instead of the bar between the rear wheels, which would tip the stroller backwards if you fell. (It's supposed to be on your wrist so the stroller doesn't take off if you trip.) Also, the (retail) price of the BOB went up $50 with the new model in 2011, which made me mad. The Baby Jogger Summit and BOB Revolution are very comparable in features and quality and after a year of use my Summit looks and rolls like brand new.
Initially we had a Baby Trend jogging stroller travel system, but it was bulky and the quality wasn't what I wanted for running.
I think if you or your SO is going to be running with it and you only want one stroller, you can't go wrong with a BOB (or Baby Jogger). The quality is amazing and I'm positive that I will be able to use this through all of my kids. It is our only stroller and we use it almost daily. It is slightly harder to navigate through the mall, but my travel system was not much narrower than this is and this one turns more easily, so it works really well as our only stroller.

We are planning on getting the Joovy Zoom, although I'm also tempted by the BOB. I'm curious which one you will choose in the end...

We LOVE our BOB. It's our only stroller (except for the snap n go we used while LO was in an infant car seat) and we take it everywhere. It really handles nicely and the ride is very smooth; it's super easy to push and I love the inflated tires (instead of plastic wheels). If I had to do it over again, I wouldn't change a thing

We got a used BOB revolution and I cannot wait to use it! We have gravel roads so we needed something that will hold up in the conditions. Ive considered putting my dog in it just to test it out!

@MamaCate: I only use it for jogging (I jog around my neighborhood and parks). I have a travel system for walking but the Baby Trend is so light and easy to move that I wish I had used that as my travel system.
so now I take walks with Lo. I love it so much. It rides so smoothly.
