So my friend is preggo (yay!) And she is seriously overwhelmed with all the options out there for strollers. I don't have a kid yet, but I have done a lot of research but don't have any personal experience. This is where you come in!
Basically, she wants a stroller she can run with, take around town, put a car seat into. What do you recommend? I don't think she has a budget as of yet.

If it's a stroller she can run with, a BOB Revolution would most certainly fit the bill! I've had many different strollers (bugaboo, Uppa Baby, Maclaren, Mountain Buggy, and Snap n Go), but I really LOVE the BOB! Amazing suspension and steer.... Love it for jogging and everyday errands.

I second the BOB revolution. It's a bit heavy taking in and out of a car for running errands, but if she wants one that can do it all, this is the one. It folds up pretty compactly too. You can buy an adapter that the car seat can click into.

I found the Joovy something... last night. It was cheaper than the Bob but I'm not sure if it will work for around town or if there's a car seat adapter.

I LOVE my CityMini. It's a wonderful stroller and not crazy expensive. It's really lightweight, has a big canopy, a decent sized basket underneath, the universal carseat adaptor works with any infant seat, you can fold it with one hand, is compact. I run a lot of errands with just me and the baby and I find it very easy to deal with.
We got ours for $200 with a 20% coupon from Buy Buy Baby.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: @zippylef: It is a great stroller, but you can't run with it. Baby Jogger does make other strollers that are great for running though.
ETA: I LOVE our BOB.

I have to agree with the Bob, it meets all of the requirements plus it is easy to fold. I haven't used it but mountain buggy might make something that would met her needs.

If she's looking to jog with it, I echo the recommendations for a BOB. For non-running use (since I'm not a runner!) I love my Britax B-ready!!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: @Weagle: Ah, missed the part where she needed to run with it. I've read that the GT model you can, since they added suspension to it.
