I just assembled our new Baby Jogger City Select and now I'm anxious to use it. When DD was born, I was a stickler about washing everything before she uses it....now I'm wondering if I need to go through the hassle of taking off all the seat covers and washing it before use.

The thought never even crossed my mind... Granted, I'm not a super stickler on washing everything first, so take my thoughts with a grain of salt.

I have an UB Vista, and I did wash the sheet part that went over the bassinet mattress-- but it was literally just a zip on sheet. I don't plan to wash the toddler seat when we move her into that.
I also washed our car seat but only because it was a hand me down from my sister and had been in her attic for a while (and I found a rogue cheerio, so I'm pretty sure she didn't wash it before putting it away
)

I never thought about washing it... plus, the B-Agile is handwash only, so I only wipe it down with baby wipes when it gets grimy.

@Foodnerd81: yeah ill probably wash the bassinet sheet because it seems easy to remove and put back on lol this seems like a huge pain in the butt! DD puked a little in her car seat last week and I just wiped it down lol no way am I taking that beast apart

I never even thought of washing my stroller! We did put it together to let everything air out and off-gas and such. Maybe I need to wash the carseat cover though! Good thinking @luckypenny: !

Ummm... not sure if you mean like hosing down the metal or taking the seat parts out to wash in the machine? Like @Foodnerd81: I washed the sheet of the bassinet. I washed the removable soft part of the infant car seat before.

I did her swing and bouncy chair...but I didn't do the stroller. It's the city mini so i really couldn't have anyway.
in the first 5 months we used the carseat attached to the stroller, and the woman who gave us the carseat washed it first as it was a hand me down
)
