We have a 3 year old and an 8 month old. Right now we do 2 bath times but would love to cut the time bath time routine. When did you start doing joint baths with your kids?

We do bath times and bed times together with both boys! (almost 3 yo and 4 months old)!
We have ds1 in the big tub, ds2 in the infant tub next to it and one of us sits on a stool and manage both of them! DS1 is pretty helpful and makes it relatively easy. We dress them for bed after in DS1's room and then I nurse DS2 while ds1 "reads" before bed! (on solo nights)
We'll probably do both of them in the same time when DS2 can sit on his own without tumbling.

Mine are 18 months apart and we started joint baths when DS was sitting well enough that I could safely have him in tub with DD and her at times crazy splashing, and not have to hand my hand on his back. I think around 9+ months.

We started at around 3 months probably. The baby sat in one of those sling chairs. Eventually, we removed it.

We do joint baths now and have since 2-3 months. Sis (6 months) sits in a bath chair and big brother (2) is in the tub.

When lo2 could sit independently fairly reliably, so...7ish months? If we had a bath containment device it probably could have been sooner.

We started joint baths when baby sister was four months. At first I had her tub in the big tub. By six months we abandoned the baby tub and now just have them in there together.

Now that she's steady Sitting they bathe together

Once DD2 could sit well unsupported. I usually get the baby out first while my 3.5 year old continues playing. I dress her in the bathroom so I can monitor the older one. Once the baby is dressed I dress the older one.

we used a bath sling in the tub for DS starting pretty young, maybe like 2-3 months? once their sleep schedules aligned. saves so much time!

Right from the get-go! I put our 3yo in and soap her up, wash hair etc then I grab our wee guy and wash him while Miss A plays (he's already naked having floor time). I get the baby out first and dry him then retrieve our big girl.

We combined as soon as our younger LO could sit safely in the tub.

We've never really combined baths because DD1 was showering by the time DD2 was ready for the big tub. They've taken a few together for fun though.

Once the younger could sit well, we started joint baths. I think Logan was around 8 months.

@lamariniere: this exactly. Actually, I think we did it even sooner (once we felt DD2 was stable in a mesh bath seat and DD1 was big enough to follow directions reliably.

From pretty early on, maybe 3-4 months. I actually would put the infant tub next to the big kid inside the tub.
Once baby could sit well, we put them in the same tub together. Probably around 7 months.
We don't have time for 2 separate baths!
