My mom did this for me as a kid - she wrote letters to me in a journal. I remember loving reading and rereading all the letters. I wish I knew where she put them!
I really want to do this for DS! I am looking a "manly" leather journals on Etsy.

that is such a cute idea. I know my aunt did it for her two children..but my mom didn't do it for me that I know of.
I'm not sure if I'll journal as much as maybe a yearly letter? I also have the Belly Book & Baby Book that allow for some journaling, too.
And of course I set up the email account like I posted yesterday to send her quick emails, videos and pictures

I started his journal while I'm pregnant. Writing to tell him about what it's like being pregnant with him and I'll try to keep it up at least through his first year. I just bought a moleskin journal from Target.

I'm planning to start once I actually get pregnant haha but I saw these (or something similar) on clearance at Staples, so I bought two in brown leather.
If I go according to plan, i'll write in it for pregnancy, and birth and exciting events (first day of school, first fight between us, etc.) and give it to them on graduation
