Oh my word those shoes are cute.......I'm in trouble!!!

I don't like to spend more than $25 on a pair of shoes (or any one article of clothing), and even that makes me grumble. I guess it depends on how badly you want them haha

I try not to look at shoes over $40 for LO and those need to he pairs that she wears frequently. My max would be $50 for sure and I would have to love the shoes and they would need to he wearable year round.

@loveisstrange: So so pretty! I'm cheap, like really cheap! $20 is usually my max, but I make it stretch really far. I love flash sales and Ebay, I bought brand spanking new pedipeds for $4.50 and $5 last month on Ebay.

Can't justify it either. I spent $50 on boots for LO but that was more of a necessity.

She better fit in them for 2 years for me to buy those!

My max will be 15-20$ for shoes for her. For me, my max, for a pair I expect to last me a good while, is 75$, but my usual is 40-50$.

Max $15, we buy used usually though so spend about $2-$5 per pair. All name brand too, can't beat that!

I think that joyfolie shoes are beautiful but I have heard they can be quite uncomfortable... If I'm paying that much it has to at least be leather. I don't like to spend more than $25 but could go up to 50 for something that is high quality and comfortable and worn every day.

I love these shoes, but anything over 35 is too much for LO. I don't even spend 70 on shoes for me, I can't imagine for someone who grows out of them so quickly!

$20 max. I get a lot of shoes during sales (like the SKR clearance), Nordstrom Rack, or used (HB classifieds, CL, etc.). Those shoes are so expensive, even as a splurge to me!

$10 max... We shop consignment!

I spend 60-80 on winter boots. For sneakers, my max is 30. I try to buy nicer quality shoes because I used to buy cheap shoes for DS and they would fall apart or start to smell.
However, now that we have a DD, I'm going to be in trouble. I just bought a pair of glittery gold Mary Janes for her that she definitely won't be able to wear until she's walking.

$30. Quality shoes are important for kids and their feet development. I make sure to only buy one pair for every size to minimize cost. Plus I have another boy who can give the shoes another life. Cost per wear will be super low with two kids wearing them.

I think as long as it is something you plan for (dont go into debt for) you are the only one who can decide if its in your budget. I personally wouldnt spend that much, but a lot of people wouldnt spend $60 on an AA dream blanket. I determined that the quality and longevity of the product was worth it to me, so we saved for it because it was something I really wanted lo to have.
