I would have to decide based on the first name! lol.

I agree with you- it's simpler and how I've always thought of Juliet being spelled.

Definitely Juliette! It's girly and looks better! (I also prefer Vivienne to Vivian so it's definitely just my personal preference).

@Rainbow Sprinkles: Ya, he says Juliet looks masculine to him!

@autumnlove: yeah and I think there's an emphasis on the "et" ending of the name, and having the ette there just looks more like it sounds, if that make sense. I mean both are correct but I'm a weirdo!

I prefer the look of Juliette but I think people are more likely to spell it Juliet so I'd choose that spelling (though I'm not sure if it matters for a middle name). LOVE that name!

I actually pronounce them differently -- the first way is more like JULIE-et with emphasis on the first two syllables and the second is Julie-ET with the ending emphasized. Personally, I like the first pronunciation better so I'd probably spell it that way, but I do think the -ette ending looks prettier!

I would pronounce them differently too - one as Ju-lee-et and one as Ju-lee-et-teh.

I'm with @PurplePeony: which is why I prefer the ette ending.

Juliette! I think it looks more feminine. I do think the pronunciations are also slightly different, as pp have mentioned.
I am biased here though...

I voted "Juliet", but then realized it's for a middle name. I say "ette" for the middle name. It's longer (which is why I like the shorter for a name she'd spell out all the time), but as a middle, I'd go with the more romantic/feminine spelling.

I would pronounce Juliet as JUliet and Juliette as juliETTE. I think the first is a nice quick name to go in the middle (which I tend to gravitate towards). If you ever decide on it as a first name, I'd go with Juliette because it sounds prettier!

I prefer Julliette because that spelling implies the pronunciation Julie-ette. Otherwise I think Juliet looks like it would be pronounced more like Harriet. Fast and short "it" at the end. "Just Julie it!" (Is how Juliet reads to me).

I'm with @Ms. RV:, so the question is, which pronunciation goes better with the FN you have chosen?

Thanks for the input! I think I have been swayed to Juliette!

Well I have a Juliet so Im biased
I debated for a while but decided in the end to stick with Juliet for some silly reasons truthfully (less expensive for name things, can fit scantrons better, etc) Someone once said to me Juliet is frou frou and frilly enough on its own as a name that it doesnt need any extra flare...I guess it kinda stuck with me.

Juliet. It feels feminine but strong, where Juliette feels too frilly for my taste.

I think ette is prettier to look at, but I'd go with the original spelling because I'd hate for it to always be misspelled!

I think I prefer the classic spelling Juliet. But if I were going to use the name I'd probably use the -ette version because my sons name ends in -ett and I think that would be fun
