@mrskansas: thanks for thinking of me! I took a step back from the boards because over analyzing was driving me crazy, and I got my puppy! But also this. After the last early loss I'm much more cautious - beta tomorrow and we'll take it from there. And for funsies, the pup, Ollie

Well, I'm officially out this month. My spotting picked up yesterday afternoon and AF officially arrived by the evening. It was not implantation spotting. I'm devastated. I'll never become pregnant with a 7 day LP. Making some calls today to make an appointment for some testing to figure out where to go next. I currently go to a CNMW. Do you ladies suggest I switch to a OB? Or go straight to a RE? I don't think a RE will see me unless my CNMW makes a call. I just don't want to waste anymore time.
@skiierchck99: Congrats, on your bfp and fur baby!!
@2littlepumpkins: Thanks but I'm 90% sure it's AF.

@YogiBeachWife: I'm sorry can you call your midwife and ask if they do initial testing or if they would refer you? Often anyone can do the baseline testing. Switching to an ob just seems like another layer of waiting unless your MW recommends it.

@Coral: you can take me off the list when you get a chance. Already thinking about July!

@YogiBeachWife: I'm sorry when I am told the nurse I see that we'd been trying for awhile without luck, she told me that at my age it would be best to see someone sooner rather than later to get the ball rolling on testing and referred me straight to an re. Ideally I could have got the basic bloodwork done by my gp and skipped the re for a bit longer but my gp doesn't do any of that testing.

@YogiBeachWife: I would ask your current provider to give you a referral to a RE.
I'm sorry about AF and the stress this is causing

@YogiBeachWife: so sorry to hear I hope you get testing and treatment soon. I think it depends on your insurance if you need an RE referral (I think most insurances require it). But it sounds like an RE is the way to go.

@YogiBeachWife: I'm so sorry. I would want to go to an RE too. I hope they can figure this out quickly and get you on your way.

EWCM on CD 7... anyone else have this happen?
I'm not doing any meds this cycle so no idea what my body is doing.

@Coral: Can you change my POAS date to 6/13? That's the date of my beta and I'm going to try to hold out. I told DH this morning that I was trying to decide if I should POAS on Monday or just wait until Tuesday. He's supportive of waiting, so I'm going to try!!

@YogiBeachWife: Ugh, I'm sorry. Progesterone should do the trick to lengthen your LP. Fortunately that's a fairly easy problem to solve. I didn't catch my short LP until more than a year of TTC had gone by. Makes me so sad to think that I might have had fertilized eggs that just didn't have time to implant.

@dominobee: I waited for my beta and the phone call this cycle. It was worth getting the call that started with congrats.

@snarkybiochemist: I know I keep daydreaming about it!
@mrs.kansas: Thanks. It's been especially hard because I'm feeling soooo many sensations in my lower abdomen. Sort of like ovulation pain but duller and less centralized in one spot. However part of what's made it easier is that we're hanging out with a bunch of friends in Richmond, VA this weekend and I'm planning on drinking til it's pink, haha. As my friend who had two MCs and tried for years to finally get her rainbow baby (who's almost 2 now) said: "You're dying to know, but you also don't want to know for one more weekend!" Also I feel like if I find out I'm not PG before this weekend I'll just be so sad and won't be able to have any fun. While the folks we're seeing are friends, they're not close enough to me to really talk about it. So I'll just be sulky with no one to confide in.

@dominobee: Yes definitely don't stop drinking! Haha.
This weekend sounds like a great distraction.

At what DPO do you guys start POAS? When we were previously TTC I always made myself wait until the day my period was due, but I don't think I can be that patient this time around Just wondering when everyone else starts!

@HappyBaker: The earliest I've had a BFP is 10 dpo so illogically I start wasting my money at 9 dpo.

@Raspberry: exactly I know I should wait for 10 or 11 but the temptation is too much ...
