@HappyBaker: I had a super squinter on 8dpo with LO, and then bfns until 10 dpo, then back to squinter status until 13 dpo. Sooooo I start at 8dpo but I know I should wait at least until 10 or 11.... I don't count myself out until 13dpo though.

CD16 and I'm so frustrated that my OPKs are nowhere near positive. I had blazing positives on CD13-15 last cycle so that really got me hoping it would be the same.
I'm so frustrated that I can't be in the TWW yet so I can be MORE frustrated!

@Mrs. Oreo: I'm sorry! Mine usually change overnight (no fade in) so I hope that happens soon! Waiting to ovulate is the worst.

@bhbee: thanks! It definitely looks a little more than the last few days, so hopefully this weekend is it.

@Mrs. Oreo: Waiting to ovulate is so hard!!! Hope it happens soon for you!

@HappyBaker: I always say that I am going to start when AF is due and then really test at 10 dpo.

Took a FRER this morning at 11DPO and . I usually use Wondfos for testing early but broke out the FRER bc I wouldn't want to wait until Monday for betas if there was a result, and we're having a pool party today so I wanted some drinks.... and by that I mean Diet Coke (I give it up mostly for TTC and completely for pregnancy).

@HappyBaker: I start POAS at 8DPO, my earliest positive being 9 DPO.

I'm 8 dpo today and I think I might test Sunday morning at 10 dpo. DH is out of town and it would be so much fun to surprise him when he gets back if it's positive. I'm not really having any symptoms other than a giant pimple on my chin 🙄

@HappyBaker: I like to start at 10dpo but this time I did it and got a squinted at 9.

Thanks for all the responses! I have no idea when I O-ed this month since I didn't use OPKs and this is our first month trying this time around, which is making it harder to wait to test! Definitely using them next month and going to try to wait until at least Monday!

I think I'm about 9 or 10 dpo and I'm just starting to feel the urge to test but pregnancy tests in NZ are stupidly expensive! I'm talking $15-20 for 2-3 tests so I just can't justify testing this early. Must.not.give.in.to.urge!

@Kemma: can you order them online for any cheaper? At least that's a good incentive for waiting to test
I totally gave in and took a wondfo this morning and I think I see a line. Or a shadow of a line. Which then of course made me take a first response that didn't show anything. Ahhhhh I'm so impatient. 9 dpo and I feel like 39 dpo since this cycle has been so long.

@jodyblair: Yes, I can see the shadow you are talking about! This is my first month using cheapies, and I had no idea what the potential evap lines or spacing between the lines was like. My test this morning (8 dpo) looks similar but I can't even get it to photograph as well as yours.
Was debating using my only FRER but since yours was a negative I might save it for tomorrow. When will you test again?

@Raspberry: So I also ended up taking a clearblue I had and that one had a second line, too! I'll test again in the morning because I would love to surprise DH when he gets home from a trip tomorrow. I think as long as it shows up before 10 minutes, it should be a true positive and not an evap or an indent.

@jodyblair: I see it! Mine looked sorta like that at 9dpo!!!! Good luck!!!

@Raspberry: Thanks! You too! I'm trying to come up with a fun way to tell DH and I can't think of anything cute. When I found out with our first, he was on a work trip and I just told him over the phone, and with our second he was with me when I tested. I would love to tell him in a cute way since this is likely our last!

@jodyblair: Could you incorporate some kind of early Father's Day card or gift with it?
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@jodyblair: yep, I definitely see it! My lines came up on Wondfos before the FRERs picked it up this cycle, too. Fingers crossed, but congratulations!!

@Raspberry: I would save the FRER until tomorrow; I really don't like these new FRERs! As I said above, wondfos picked up my hcg before FRERs this cycle.

@theotherstark: Thanks. The only reason I considered wasting one at 8 dpo is because we are currently vacationing in wine country and I really want to know if I should join in on a tasting today. I didn't know the new FRERs have changed. Is that why they say 6 days earlier instead of 5 like they used to?

@2littlepumpkins: @Mrs.Panda: @Coral: @theotherstark: Thank you! I'm definitely excited, but I'm nervous and anxious to see a darker line.

@Raspberry: yeah the FRERS are rumored to not be the "gold standard" anymore. Even though the advertising on the box says they're most sensitive, I've seen a lot of ladies posting about how they're not as sensitive.
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Raspberry: well, they are new to me since when I was trying the first time, I still used the old ones I guess they aren't so new anymore. But, I do think they aren't as sensitive as the older ones.

I caved! Stark negative but I'm only 10-11dpo so I'm not too surprised!
nectarine / 2358 posts
@DesertDreams88: definitely not as sensitive as even the Wal Mart brand (my new gold standard). Not too disappointed, they are too expensive anyway!

Cycle Day: 18
TTC Cycle: 2
Ovulation Date: Positive OPK 9th June, CD 16
POAS Date: 21st June
Baby #: 2, 2 year old little lady.
What's up this month: App said my O day was 3 days prior to positive OPK, so bd every second day leading up to and including positive OPK day to be sure. Didn't bother afterwards - bd fatigue! Now we wait.
New here, I did have a prior account when trying for beb 1. Beb 1 took us 6 months and only caught the egg after following the SMEP - I think the OPKs are what really helped. Suffer from endo, am hoping getting into OPKs early this time will help us again.

@Patty86: Welcome and good luck!
@jodyblair: Very excellent update! Congratulations! You must be so excited to tell DH when he comes home today.
