I wish I had temped this cycle so I’d know for sure when I ovulated. LH surge was 13 days ago, but I’m not sure if I ovulated one or two days later.

@CatchAFallingStar: hmm my eye does catch on something - but it could be an indent, hard to say. Do you see in person? Still early though so definitely hope!
nectarine / 2808 posts
@fuzzypeaches: yeah I see something but I’m having a hard time telling if there’s any color to it
Thanks for your response!
Would this be bad if I were 12DPO to have a test this faint?? I might be 11, but still.
clementine / 950 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: I think implantation can happen anytime, and you might only be 11dpo and if you weren’t temping honestly you could be off a bit more. In my years of googling this exact question I have come across many miracles of late implantation/slow rising hcg/ miscalculated ov and subsequent healthy babies.
However, speaking just for my own self and having had at this point many varieties of pregnancy, if I was pretty sure I was 12dpo or more I wouldn’t be super hopeful as I have generally had a positive by this point.
But you know what they say, it isn’t over until the witch comes to visit

@JennyLayneAZ: I don’t know anything about the science, but you typically ovulate from the left ovary, then the right then the left. Maybe one ovary has a longer cycle?

I had another weird white line tonight as well as some strong cramps. I’m guessing AF tomorrow.
nectarine / 2808 posts
@fuzzypeaches: yeah, I usually have a positive by 11 or 12, so most likely it wasn’t a line

@CatchAFallingStar: girl I’m right there with you gojng crazy. I didn’t tempt just used opks and first day of surge was 11 days ago. Caved and took another test tonight and nada. Pact to wait until Friday am?
clementine / 950 posts
@JennyLayneAZ: I have been having varying cycles lately too (prev like clockwork) I have been chalking it up to age 🤷♀️
I wonder if you had an anovulatory cycle?
nectarine / 2808 posts
@maybebaby: I wish I could say I’ll hold out until Friday but let’s face it, I’ll probably cave tomorrow! (Or AF will arrive)

@fuzzypeaches: That's an extremely negative pregnancy test.
Do you have any other brands to test with?
Seeing all the FRER fails I probably won't buy any. Ever.
clementine / 950 posts
@paranundrum: I have others but to be honest I ov’d late and am only 6-7dpo so I think I’ll wait a bit (at least until tomorrow 🤣)
@CatchAFallingStar: sorry girl

@fuzzypeaches: is that pre pee showing the horrible indent on the pregnant line? Or post pee and a really messed up test?
clementine / 950 posts
@Sams Mom: post pee!!! The weirdest thing! However that indent was there even before
I almost took a pic of that too!

@fuzzypeaches: 🤦♀️ #FRERfailsagain

@Eebolleh: that's what my thought was!
@fuzzypeaches: possibly... I've been on b/c my entire adult life (aside from when I conceived dd - that only took 3 cycles so I hadn't figured anything out by that point) but I had wonky cycles as a teen too. So, I think my body is just weird lol
@fuzzypeaches: wtf
@CatchAFallingStar: sorry girl

WTF. These freakin tests are playing with my mind. There’s sorta lines... but not definite. And wouldn’t they be darker by 11-12 DPO? I just want a definite no line or line! 🤬
clementine / 950 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: ok I see that FOR SURE. I wonder if you were a bit off on O date or have a lovely late implanter?? Tomorrow will tell us I guess.
I wish we could have portable beta tests haha
nectarine / 2808 posts
@fuzzypeaches: I totally forgot, but I still had EWCM for 4 days after my positive OPK. But, how would it be possible to ovulate that far after the positive? Also, we BD the day of the positive and not after. I’m confused. So, if I ovulated the last day of EWCM, that would be O-4 when we BD. Not even sure if that is possible. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
Do you see it on both tests?
ETA- I didn’t take any OPKs after the first one on cycle day 18. Still had EWCM until cycle day 22. If I ovulated on day 22 or 23, I’d only be 9 or 10 DPO today. Confusing stuff.

@fuzzypeaches: frers are so expensive. Maybe you can complain and get a refund
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: it takes 24-72 hours after peak LH to ovulate. Generally you dry up (at least I do) at the end of O+1. So it's totally possible you're 9-10 dpo

@CatchAFallingStar: I was actually saying I think I saw a line on the first cheapie. I 10000% see a line on the second cheapie. Fingers crossed it gets darker
nectarine / 2808 posts
@Sams Mom: so weird... I had lots of EWCM four days after the positive
ETA: thanks for responding! I hope I really am only 9-10 DPO!
cherry / 117 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: I don’t see it on the frer, but when I was pregnant with #1, I totally got positive results on the cheapies first, and the frer like 2 days later. I thought frers were the gold standard, but I got my first positive on a cheapie
nectarine / 2177 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: im sorry i saw your other posts about the negatives. BFN over here too,
@yellowbeach: so exciting!!
nectarine / 2808 posts
@fuzzypeaches: portable beta tests would be amazing if they didn’t involve needles and blood haha
nectarine / 2808 posts
@fuzzypeaches: just curious- can you see something on the FRER I posted? I just glanced at it again and I feel like I’m seeing a very VERY faint line. But, I have completely morphed into a crazy person over the last few days so who knows! 🤷♀️
clementine / 950 posts
@CatchAFallingStar: I do see it! But it could still be an indent... did you test again this morning? I am still hopeful for you.
@Sams Mom: how did your appointment go yesterday??
grapefruit / 4492 posts
@fuzzypeaches: it went well, a lot better than I anticipated honestly. We went over the list of clinics in the 2 cities I am considering. Come to find out my doctor did rotations in residency with almost everyone on the list in one city. Turns out at least half of them aren't REs even; one is a urologist and one is an OB/GYN that both decided a cash practice no insurance was more lucrative... And they don't have great labs behind them either.
Another guy has a couple clinics in my state and although he's not an RE his lab is run by an RE; he appears to have good results. Last but not least the city I wasn't really considering has 2 single doctor practices (which I'm fond of because I don't like change), and they're both REs.
We talked about my maybe baby OSOM squinter, the fact I'm ovulating now, my thyroid, caught up on other BS since it's either been raining or 80% humidity so I haven't been on walks and flipped him off or anything.
