@organicmama: glad to hear you feel positive after the RE. It is great that she was able to spend do much time with you. I think it would feel good to have a plan instead if wondering and feeling like you are in limbo. Hope the clomid does the trick for you!

@organicmama: I'm sorry your body isn't doing what it's supposed to but that's great that RE is proactive and you have solutions. I have seen a lot of great results from clomid. I think Mrstictactoe had her first that way and there is this great blogger who has a blog Baby, Borneo, or Bust. She had her two daughters on clomid. Good luck!

@LIL BEAN: Ok, I'm not a part of this thread, but I had to comment on your trip to the Stampede! I'm a Calgary girl, and my parents just recently moved away from Alberta (to Ontario, where DH and I are) and I miss the atmosphere in Calgary this time of year! We're having a Canada Day Stampede BBQ complete with hay bales

@MamaCate: I'm so sorry you didn't get lucky last night. I'm absolutely sending good vibes your way for this weekend. As for keeping spirits up, I always just focus on how much I love my life already. I think you can find that your life is pretty good as is. You know, babies turn things upside down!! Enjoy what you've got while you've got it.

@AmeliaBedilia: you just stop this "giving up" talk right now. What would "giving up" even mean? No more sex with your husband for the rest of your married lives? You aren't giving up. And you are hardly into your vacation time. Just enjoy yourself and quit worrying about every last possible symptom. Have fun at the water park and run your heart out! Apparently you are a bomb ass runner. I don't think a pregnancy would have any impact on that at this stage. All's well that ends well. Some things just take time. In the meantime, you have a pretty great life, I think, already!

@sapphire: Woot woot!!! Congratulations! That's about as positive of a test as I have ever seen!! Woo hoo!!!

@LIL BEAN: I'm glad you confirmed your O and that you are well into the TWW. And FWIW, I think you should totally be your hubby's buckle bunny!! Rodeos are awesome and so are cowboys! Giddy up!!

@dc yoga bee: Maybe a buckle bunny is like a cleat chaser?

@organicmama: Sounds like your appointment went great! I love that your doctor talked with you for as long as you wanted. I think your body IS doing what its supposed to. Your numbers seem great, I think. Clomid is just a jump start. As for clomid, when will you start it??? As for BMI.... oh poor girl..... she doesn't want you to get any thinner!

I am stressing out - tonight I have to move my furniture out of my old work office. (Yes, I had to supply my own office furniture. ) I am doing it when no one else is there so I don't disrupt people and it will be easier on me. Hoping we don't have any trouble getting in, and that the stuff isn't too heavy. Plus it is just emotionally hard. Then POAS tomorrow. Please send prayers.

@organicmama: I know SO MANY Clomid success stories, and I'm 7w1d into my own! I know a family with 2 kids from Clomid, and a surprise 3rd without it, and many others with one Clomid baby followed by getting KU with #2 with no medical help. And there are LOTS of success stories on the boards - I scoured them when I got my prescription I have a great feeling about your treatment plan going forward! When do you start?

    @sapphire: Congrats!!!!!!

@organicmama: I'm so happy your appt went well!

@mrsmcd: 9 DPO today...anxiously waiting!!! My boobs are pretty sore...they usually get sore before AF but they became sore sooner than usual. Last night and the day before I was very mean to DH and he asked me what's going on with my hormones? Lmao...hoping that's a good sign. I've also been getting twinges near my ovaries...I've had that other cycles but yesterday and the day before it was a quick sharp pain and it went away. FX but not trying to get my hopes up!

If I get a BFN/AF arrives...I'm treating myself to sushi and lots of alcohol for Fourth of July!!!

Has anyone tried acupuncture for fertility? I'm hesitant to try it but I've heard success with it...

@nicolechris11212: I'm at my acupuncture appointment right now! I love it! Its my 4th visit, so no success stories yet. She said it could take a few months to regulate my hormones.

Thank you all for all the good wishes! I've been busy at work, so sorry for delay in thanking you! You are all so sweet and have made me feel so good! Due date is March 10!

So this was cycle 9 for first baby. The only O week BD was either O and O-3 or O-1 and O-4 (was working nights so no temping for a couple days and OPK was almost pos on CD12). We had reduced my thyroid meds at the beginning of May but other than that, we didn't do anything special. And a reminder that my DH's morphology was only 2%. I totally thought we were out because of less BD. I don't have any symptoms and I still don't know what made me test! I had my thyroid labs rechecked yesterday and my endocrinologist called today with results and said that my labs hinted at pregnancy!

I have a feeling I'll be POAS daily for a while... Still feeling g scared this could turn out to be a chemical it something ... I've never been any kind of pregnant!

@MrsMcD: 3DPO over here! SNORE! Excited for you girl to test soon! more BFPS!!!

@nicolechris11212: OOOH good signs! good Signs! Accupuncture is awesome. I will totally go back next month if this isnt it.

@sapphire: perhaps less frequency was good for you husbands sperm recharge? Earlier ovulation can also be a good thing so long as it's not CRAZY early. I felt the same way you do when I was first pregnant. It was a hard time because I was so excited but also so nervous. What helped me was to keep in mind that the majority of pregnancies end in healthy babies. Baby DUST!

@MrsMccarthy: now I just want you to all join me in March!
And maybe you're right, maybe the reduction in BD was a good thing! Definitely makes me feel less bad for not hitting all the possible fertile days many times! Hopefully might help some of you too...

@sapphire: I'm super excited for you!

@heartabandoned: Thanks for the stories! From what I've read today about Clomid, it seems like our chances will be pretty good!

The RE also told me today that typically DH's morphology doesn't change much. So the fact that we already had a baby before ALMOST took him off the hook for the SA. She thought we should try the Clomid a couple months and if no luck, then get him checked out. Now... do I be a nice wifey and tell him that? Or just make him go! (no brainer. he's going.)

@mrsmcd: I am supposed to start AF on 7/2 and start the clomid on the 3rd day of my period. Are we still on the same schedule? My cycles might be a day longer than yours... (30 days)

@organicmama: I'm supposed to start AF on June 30. But my cycles are only 27 or 28 days so I still think that keeps us in line with each other. That's so exciting you are starting clomid! I am one cycle away. I will likely be starting during my cycle that starts near the end of July. So exciting!!!! I'm so hoping this is it for you. And hey! You might not even need to start clomid because you still have this current cycle to be hopeful about.

I am SO hungry right now ladies! I have been doing this diet for 19 days and had no issues till yesterday. Trying not to read into it too much at a paltry 3DPO but I do find it a bit amusing even if its pschosymatic.

BFN in cycle 15. Got up about two hours early so I could test with DH. didn't sleep well, little cold, thermometer questionable. Wondfo negative. DH has been in an irritable mood so that makes everything worse. I don't understand why my temp isn't staying up more with the progesterone. My cycle is generally clockwork, and the first cycle on progesterone, it took four days for my temp to go down and AF to come. Second cycle on progesterone it only took a day. Any ideas? I have a conference I was elected to go to (have been trying for this for two years) in early May. If it happens this next cycle, I could still go but after that it gets dicey.

    I want to give up.

@AmeliaBedilia: I don't think you are ready to give up, people who are ready to give up aren't so involved, maybe you just need someone to take the pressure off you instead of feeling like all the responsibility is on your shoulders? Sending you lots of hugs

@ameliabedilia: I'm so sorry. ((Big hugs)). My friend was going through the same ttc journey for a long time. She then "gave up" and bam...got pregnant. She was shocked and couldn't believe it. She also had to take progesterone and it took some time but did get pregnant. She felt that her mind wasn't so focused on it and it happened. You will get your bfp...I do believe that. Hang in there. Treat yourself to something nice today...and maybe everyday this week! You deserve it. You did have a lot of stress this cycle with your FIL visiting!!! I would say dealing with that...DEF go treat yourself! And don't worry so much about the conference. Who knows what the future may bring. Last summer before the whole ttc process when full force I was thinking of "planning" the month I get KU so it wouldn't affect my part-time school job. (I work for an agency for a school and get paid per kid when I treat them so if it happened during the school year I don't get paid as much). And once I realized "oh you can't just pick the month you want to have babies" lol (I was so naive!) I then decided any month would be fine and I will "figure it out when I get there". You still have to live your life and make decisions for upcoming things and see what happens, go with the flow. Have you tried any relaxation techniques? I find that it helps me a lot and calms my system/brain down bc it's always going a mile a minute with ttc! Hang in there girl!
