@MrsMccarthy: that cheesy part is my favorite part. I will totally look it up!
Happy early birthday!!
I'm 31 and have lived in Orange County, California, my whole life.

@AmeliaBedilia: I think conceive plus comes with applicators already. The version that was linked in the last thread it was pre-filled applicators which is what I bought. You just twist it open and stick it in there and squeeze.
@MrsMccarthy: Happy early birthday.
@MrsMcD: I am 31 too I have lived in Nor Cali all my life but I went to school in central cali for a while... it was quite interesting because there was a bit of a divide between Nor Cali and So Cali students and which area was better. So funny what people feel loyal to. I feel both are great!

Why am I watching 16 & Pregnant. Set in Collins, GA nonetheless. My DH is from Ga, and I went to school in Ga. He says oh lord they're perpetuating the southern hick stereotype!

@dc yoga bee: That show is sometimes frustrating and sometimes makes me feel better. Frustrating that it feels like EVERYONE is pregnant besides me, including teenagers who don't want to be or can't be good parents. When it looks so hard, it does make me feel a little better about not being pregnant yet.

@AmeliaBedilia: This!!
Also, I finally made an appointment for acupuncture on my birthday next week!

@MrsMcD: nice! Do they still have penguins frozen yogurt in Balboa? I went to Newport Heights and then Newport Elememtry schools before being home schooled in 5th grade.
@Raindrop: aren't you sweet! Thank you. I hope you are feeling good so far.
@dc yoga bee: ugh I really hate that show because I feel like it sort of celebrates something that is so sad in most cases.
@dc yoga bee: hey Gemini sista! Congrats on the acupuncture! When is you birthday? Mine is Sunday.

@MrsMccarthy: Happy Birthday! Tuesday! I'll be 27, and I'm a military brat. I've lived all over from California to Germany, with a bunch of places in between.

@AmeliaBedilia: sorry about AF. I think this month could be your month!
@Snowdrop: thanks! I hope I get a surprise BFP soon. What day DPO did you get yours?
@dc yoga bee: ugh. That show kills me on so many levels. It's crazy when I feel slightly jealous of them, lol. 9DPO is still early!
@MrsMccarthy: I know! I was really hoping I'd get something better today!
@MrsMcD: I love that you speak sarcasm. I'm fluent.
I'm soon to be 29, and born and raised SoCal.

A quick kumbaya moment:
I so appreciate all of you ladies! It is so nice to hear you say the things that no one else understands, or that you understand my crazy. I so wish everyone lived in Ohio and we could hang out. Thanks for making a rough time better.

@mrsmccarthy: I should have recognized a fellow Gemini Happy birthday!! My 34th b day is Friday the 13th... But since I was born on that day, I consider it my LUCKY day! Born and raised in the outskirts of Houston, TX (hence the frequent "y'alls")
I truly believe it's all about God's timing, too. I mean, He can just blink babies into existance whenever He wants! I suppose like all other hard times in life, there is a valuable lesson to be learned here. Most likely about patience, endurance, faith, etc... For now, however, I am just doing my best not to want to backhand these half wits that are popping out more kids than they have sense! (I.e. 16 and Pregnant)
Whew, can y'all tell I'm hormonal today?? Lol!
@ameliabedilia: I wholeheartedly agree keeping busy helps! This cycle I think I really just let my guard down and started hoping waaaay too much. I'm actually an in-the-gym-3-or-4-times-a-week kinda girl... I hate the feeling of not doing any sort of exercise because I start feeling anxious and don't sleep as well. But this time I stopped everything after about 7 dpo... too afraid of knocking loose a tiny bean in there! Proooobably not going to do that again though since that may have contributed to my hormone freak out overload when AF actually came.

@organicmama: Hi Gemini sister! I'm June 10! And I totally agree about timing. I'm trying to remember the power of faith, prayer, and trusting in God that it WILL happen. When doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
nectarine / 2192 posts
@organicmama: When I am stressing about doing every little thing to make sure I get a BFP, I try to remember that many babies turn up without much trying. For instance, what doctor would tell someone that exercise is effective birth control? Or running to the bathroom right after will keep you from getting pregnant? Do what makes you happy (within reason) and I so hope you get your BFP soon!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: LOL!! Running to the bathroom will prevent you from getting pregnant! When you put it like that it, it really highlights the absurdity.
cherry / 230 posts
@DC yoga bee: happy early birthday to you too! And you're not out of the running yet!

@organicmama: @Crystal: AF is due in 1-2 days. I only have 10 day LP. I've never seen 12,13, or 14dpo
cherry / 230 posts
@DC yoga bee: wow, that is a short LP. I'm sorry sweetie. So you just temp and use OPK's? I think I'm going to try the temping thing this cycle...
nectarine / 2192 posts
@dc yoga bee: You might have mentioned this earlier, but have you talked to your doc about progesterone? My LP is 10-12 days, and I had a cycle where my temp stayed up a few extra days that we really thought it was my BFP. I am now on my third cycle of progesterone 200mg capsule vaginally once I confirm O.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: @organicmama: I just had mine checked this cycle and it was within the normal range, and indicated ovulation. The doctor said its normal, so I don't know where to go from here over than acupuncture to lengthen it? I actually don't temp. I just track my cycles, and use the fertility monitor and opks. I wake up at different times of the day so can't effectively temp.

@organicmama: I'm so sorry *hugs* it's so frustrating when you get new symptoms each month
@@MrsMcD: I have lived in Fremont, CA my entire life and it's the most boring place ever. I only recently moved to Livermore CA

@MrsMccarthy: Ahhhh... you really are a local girl! There are only two penguins left, I think, and not in Orange County. There was one within walking distance of where I grew up so I went there so very often as a kid. Good memories!!
@Crystal: Ohhh... Fluent sarcasm, eh? We must have some more chats soon.
@AmeliaBedilia: I'm so glad you feel good support from this group. You have a lot going on, but you deserve to enjoy all the good stuff! you have a great vacation soon enough!
@organicmama: Ahh... a Texas girl! I really want to visit Austin soon. And you are another one in support of God's timing. Hooray!
@dc yoga bee: I am always needing to remind myself to better trust God. I just get to antsy to buy a cute stroller! And so competitive with girls who say dumb things like "we are going to try for a honeymoon baby."
@AmeliaBedilia: I always can't help but thinking that somewhere some unhealthy person is probably getting knocked up under less than perfect circumstances so it shouldn't matter too much how perfect I try to make things.

@intotheocean: Santa Cruz is beautiful! I hope to get up there again. I went once when I was 19 on a road trip with my husband, then boyfriend. Its nice you've stayed in or near the same town your whole life. I technically live in a boring "family-friendly" area. Most of the people I grew up with moved away, but a good core of my friends have stayed. We love it so much! We could get a little better real estate the next town over. But its on the opposite side of the canyon, looking across at my hometown and I just can't ever even imagine moving to that side! Its funny how stuck I get. But I love boring towns!

My temp went down today and I'm cramping like crazy so I know AF will be here by tomorrow...what an unwelcome guest! I went out and got a milkshake at lunch as a consolation...this may sound silly, but the total for my lunch was $11.11. 11 has always been my lucky number and I'm one if those people that always makes a wish when the clock turns 11:11, so I'm choosing to see it as a good omen.
I like all the talk in the board today about time, and how it's just not time for any if us yet...but hopefully will be soon!

@Crystal: i got mine at 13dpo. It was still quite a squinter on a cheapie though. Have you tested again?

I took my temp this AM and my temp dropped...it's earlier than usual as my sister is having a surgery and I'm going with her for moral support. But we all know too well what happens when your temp drops...I tested this AM as well "just in case"/"you never know" and...bfn...I'm pretty upset because I know what's ahead of me. Feeling bummed. No AF yet but...

Hi ladies - just wanted to check in and say hi. Between work being busy and feeling apathetic towards TTC, I've been mostly lurking on HB lately. But, I am thinking of all of you!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
I seriously don't know what I would do without you ladies! You are so much fun in an otherwise really *un-fun* time. I am having one of those days where I just want to crawl back into bed - DH did not set the alarm, so I had to rush through a half-assed workout; DD has some sort of virus; I consciously put zero effort into my appearance today; and I am just so sick of work I could scream. But then I come here and you are full of jokes and sarcasm and inappropriate TTC humor that I find my stress and irritability melting away. The extra cup of coffee also doesn't hurt.
I spent my early years in the OC and then moved to - wait for it - Santa Cruz. After college, I moved to DC to fulfill my lifelong dream of being a lawyer at the White House (ha ha). Met my husband, went to law school, and the rest is history.

@dc yoga bee: Ugh. I am sorry! At least she will be gone by your birthday.
@nicolechris11212: I'm sorry - on both fronts. I will keep your sister in my thoughts today.
@doxielove: Apathetic towards TTC?!?!? NO! Not allowed. (Yeah right.) I am also totally over it.

Y'all. I'm a little hesitant to believe it, because these are blue dyes. But there are two. So maybe this is it?? I have one more test that I plan to take Thursday, and then I will get a digi to take this weekend. AF will be late as of Sunday. If I'm lying to myself I need you guys to tell me!

@HeartAbandoned: Congrats, momma!!! H&H 9 months your way!
Can you get a FRER? Or do you have another blue dye test for Thursday?
Temp dipped today. Still well above the cover line, but I think my cover line is abnormally low. Stark white BFN on Babi HPT (ran out of Wandfos, probably for the best). I am starting to lose hope for this cycle.
