At lunch Lorelei held out her hand. "I have a penny," she said, cocking her head to the side. I took my finger and stroked her palm twice. "You don't have a penny!" I said to her. "Your hand is empty." A second or two later we hear, "Hmph. Hmph." Once she is sure she has our attention, she says, "You hurt my feelings, mama." "Oh?" I replied. "How did I hurt your feelings? "'You don't have a penny,' you said." And she had the most hilarious face. Mr. T and I both just about peed our pants. Where does she get this stuff?
What was the most recent thing your child did to make you laugh?
