What would you name him/her?

Charge. It's my husbands favorite call in basketball and we always say we will name our next dog that!

Depends on what it looks like
I have a dog named Rags because she looked like a scruffy pile of rags when she slept as a puppy, and another dog named Winston because he looks like a dapper little portly fellow. The names just fit!

Lunchbox. My DH has already said he will be naming our next dog that.

Iggy or Zoe but I need a plan B for a girl since my cousin has a newborn named Zoey.

Well, we have a Jelly, Peanut Butter, and a Mr Ritz.... So we would have to keep with the food theme... Maybe honey?

Probably Angus. Like Angus Young. We probably won't ever get another dog, so we don't have any names in mind but I know DH wanted to rename our adopted dog that when we got him. So that's the only thing in mind. Lol

@autumnlove: Zoey was DH and my top girl name right before we got pregnant... but it was totally ruined for us when we started meeting a ton of dogs with that name

I'd get a Basset Hound, and I'd either name it Banjo (boy) or Dolly (girl). I want! Haha

Wrigley. We agreed on this before we even got married. It was either our first born (boy or girl) or the first dog we got together (boy or girl). DH grew up in Chicago

I've had Violet in reserve for quite awhile for the next female dog we get. I'm not sure for a male.

We named our puppy Scout.

Slider...I always say "Lucy, you stink" and think I should have named he Slider. Anybody get the reference?

Me and DH were just talking last night about if we got another dog we would want to name him Larry! But we definitely DO NOT want another dog!!

It would depend very much on the breed. Possible options? Sherlock. Dalek. Jayne. Inara. Fitz & Simmons for a pair.
River Tam. River Song. Gallifrey. Thor. We've always said we'll eventually get an outdoor cat and name it Moriarty.

I seem to like "m" names for pets - I've had a Molly (dog), and now I have two cats named Mouffette and Melvin.

I like old man names for dogs, so maybe something like Walter, Larry, Frank. I wanted to name Angus 'Baxter' so maybe that.

I kinda had a weird thing where I want to keep naming all future dogs Penny which is my dog's name right now. DH keeps joking that the next one will be nickel
