Every year I ask for tickets to The Nutcracker for Christmas and every year I don't get them 
this year I thought I'd take my fantasy a step further and plan an outfit! And who knows, since my birthday is in January, I may just get the tickets as a gift to myself!

We go every year and I wear similar idea to what @hellobeeboston: posted, except I don't have a fur ring
nice cocktail type dress, tights (I live in new england!), heels, nice/dressy winter coat. LO wears a dress and her "fancy" shoes - aka the light up Elsa mini heels lol

@hellobeeboston: Actually, in my head...I was initially envisioning black dress and mink stole but found the 'ballerina' pink first...so thank you for making my dreams a reality!!

Ooh, good question. We're going in a couple weeks and I'm sure DD will want to wear her ballerina skirt and leotard, but I hadn't thought about what I'm going to wear. Probably just a cocktail dress I have hanging in the closet.

In my fantasy world I would wear a ball skirt and a top.
In my real world, it would probably be a pair of crazy printed pants, a blazer and a blingy necklace.

Usually a pretty black dress. Last time we went with friends and went out to a fancy dinner and stayed in a hotel and made a night out of it
