@autumnlove: I feel like kaiser is different in different area too though!

@MrsMcD: dh was raised on it but his dad who had cancer always got a private second opinion. Seems like you have to be a great advocate for yourself on kaiser, so maybe people who grew up on it just navigate the system better..who knows. All I know is dh will not go on kaiser if he can avoid it, so we never chose kaiser through his job. I've never had it personally so all my experience is secondhand.
