I've talked previously about how sick DD stays when she's at daycare. We have an consultation with the ENT on the 29th to talk about getting tubes in DD's ears. My MIL has offered to watch her until then and daycare has agreed that we can unenroll her until she gets her tubes and they will leave a space for her.
The problem is, we can't decide if we want to keep her out of daycare or just leave her in. I'm tempted to leave her in, but I don't want her getting yet another set of ear infections and be put on antibiotics again. And we would be saving a lot of money by taking her out...
But, MIL's health isn't great and I don't know if she can handle watching her for a month (or two, depending on when the tubes will be put in)... DD is walking and very active so it requires someone to constantly be chasing her around. ... Not to mention the guilt she will probably give us for how she can't get anything done while watching DD...
Ugh... so torn...
