for the 'keep a lock of baby hair' people out there, are you supposed to keep the newborn hair (before it falls out), or from the 'first hair cut' which I would imagine would be well after 1 year?

There's no way we could have enough hair to keep my lo's hair from when she was a newborn. I'll wait until her first haircut. But it might just depend on the baby. I have a facebook friend who's 6 month old is on his second haircut. My one year old still has less hair than him.no haircut needed.
