I sometimes have to turn away, leave the room, close my eyes, etc--anything to get a little distance from him. I try not to react emotionally to what he is doing, but it is tough! They know how to push buttons for sure.

@hilsy85: this is basically what I do.
The worst for me is when LO throws food on the floor if she's angry in her high chair. Sometimes a little deep breathing and a walk around the kitchen works wonders
