I haven't decided for sure yet what they're getting but current ideas:
DS 6
I think Santa is bringing a telescope but trying to hold off on this in case he changes his mind! Lets hope he doesn't ask for an xbox since I told him Santa couldn't afford that much.
Want- This is tough, either a Ryan's World vault or safe, kids smart watch, or a drone
Wear- New crocs
Need- Possibly an LED headlamp so he can do his outside chores after school this winter (we have chickens)
Read- Learn how to draw dinosaurs (technically not reading but it's a book so I'm counting it lol).
DD 3
Santa is probably bringing Melissa & Doug Twin Dolls
Want - A new nursery playset I think
Wear - crocs
Need - Not sure on this one
Read - Mix It Up by Herve Tullet
They're also getting a set of walkie talkies, and one of those vintage nintendo plug & play games that is a family gift.
Stockings will be bath bombs, new toothbrushes, cheap watches (if DS doesn't get the smart watch), play dough, silly string, bubbles, etc.

DD will be six December. Her stocking has: metallic colored pencils, scented stickers, regular stickers, multi color click pen, a mini rock dig, 3 LEGO dot bracelets, toothbrush and cover, bandaids, socks, and candy.
Gifts we have for her so far (may be for birthday or Christmas):
Guess Who
FurReal Dragon
Encyclopedia Prehistorica Dinosaurs: The definitive Pop-up
My Encyclopedia of Very Important things
New Kindle Fire (hers is old/not holding a charge/turning off constantly)
Gifts on her wishlist for her birthday/christmas:
Globber Ultimum Scooter
Learning Resources Botley The Coding Robet 2.0 set
More manga tiles
LEGO dots picture frame set
LEGO dots jewelry box
LEGO Friends Baking Competition Set
Zingo Word Builder Game
Rainbow Loom craft kit
Blokus
Crayola glitter dots (2 different ones)
Weaving loom kit
create your own bead pets kit
Random art supplies
LOTS of books
magazine subscriptions
Family online cooking class
activity box subscriptions
New sled
Climbing dome (maybe, haven’t decided)
(this looks long, but she has three sets of grandparents and two sets of great grandparents who use the wishlist for her birthday and Christmas. And I'm happy they want to buy what we pick out - for the most part )

@catgirl: Judgement free zone!! I love Christmas and my son has an end of Nov bday. I didn’t even bother with the grandparent gift list because it’s too long

@wrkbrk: ha - thanks! We definitely go all out in December between the two events!

I think the kids are each getting a headlamp. They've wanted one like mine for ages, and it's such a useful thing to have!
DD1 asked me for a specific kind of hair pin, so I've ordered that for her. Not sure about the others. DS may be getting new skates... he's going to grow out of his current ones any day now. I have no clue what to get DD2. She mostly plays with things that are a no-no, so that has me stumped. She would probably love a set of Sharpies or a game with a million small pieces she can throw everywhere, but that doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

@wrkbrk: yeah. Apparently also works for making shadow puppets and looking for lost toys under the bed

Both kids are getting stuffed animals from us and a board game for our whole family. Then a few stocking stuffers.
I have a bunch of wishlist ideas for the extended family. They get soooo many presents from everyone else (thankfully usually from our list) that I keep it pretty simple from us.

Yay, love the cheerful thread! DD is getting an Our Generation doll from Target (we actually have 2, so maybe one Christmas, one Feb birthday) from Santa.
-We also got Leveret matching unicorn dresses for DD + doll.
-A KiwiCrate of soap making.
-Tervis cups for everyone. I'm sick of glasses sitting around and I don't know whose they are.
-Connect4
-Various books
-Leveret fleece bathrobe
-Other things she may need or that might keep her busy this winter. I err on the side of gifting it at Christmas/birthday rather than randomly giving her things throughout the year.
DS
-Puffs/Pouches
-Toy remote
-Maybe some jammies
-Books

I’m having such a hard time for DS1 who is 7.5. All I’ve got is a nerf gun and a book. He’ll get a bey blade or two since that’s all he wants.
DS2 is 2 and I’m thinking a car carpet for his room with some new cars.
Today in the car DS1 told DS2 that Christmas is next month and they will get presents of toys and clothes if they are good!

DS is turning 5 on Sunday. He is asking for all.the.legos
He will probably also get a bruder truck, a few schleich dinosaurs, a bunch of books and some games (space escape, zombie Kidz, sequence letters, zingo word builder)

@SweetCaroline: I love those dolls so much and wish they had them when we were little! DS has one but he could take it or leave it.

My kid gift lists are so imbalanced right now. I have three boys, the oldest is 5, which I think is just the most fun age to shop for...so I have more for him than the other two.
All three boys are getting "movie night kits" with a personalized lap tray, snackeez cup, a DVD, popcorn, popcorn cup, and a box of candy (that came directly out of their halloween candy).
DS1 (5.5) -
Bike
Vtech kidizoom watch
Mario remote control car
Some hover disk thing
Minecraft toys
LEGO set
Children's atlas
A couple of other books
Sweatshirt
DS2 (almost 3)
Balance bike and helmet
Luigi remote control car
dinosaur floor puzzle
A soft "blaster" little tykes gun
Kinetic sand
Headphones
Pop up book about the planet
DS3 (1.5)
Suitcase
Doctor kit
Bubble bath
Poor third kid

There are so many good gift ideas on this thread! This is what I have so far. I also have a Nugget on back order, but may not receive it until June!

DD1 (3 years, 11 months) is getting: A kid’s digital camera and Little People musical preschool set.
DD2 (16 months) is getting: Little People farm set and nursery set.
Their joint gift is a Nugget, I “won” in the lotto so it should be here by Christmas.
They’re also getting a new KidKraft play kitchen from the grandparents and I might get some extra accessories.
Stocking stuffers include do a dot markers, colored masking tape, no spill mini bubbles, character bandaids, and a go fish game for DD1. Probably some socks and toothbrushes too.

@IRunForFun: that’s awesome you won the Nugget lotto! My four year old already has one, and we literally use it everyday! I love the kid’s digital camera idea. DS loves taking pics with my phone. Do you know which one you are getting?

My Book with no Pictures book
Minecraft Lego set (Panda Nursery)
Ryan's World Vault (Thanks, @josina:, for the idea!)

*I'm having a harder time thinking of things because she just had a birthday and I know family members will get her a bunch of stuff)
persimmon / 1479 posts
DD (4): play doh set, several books, 3 puzzles (puzzle huddle had some cool ones)! Electric toothbrush. Maybe some sort of building thing like legos or tinker toys. I still need to think of some smaller fun things for her stocking.

I so want the nugget for my kids but DH is not on board. I think they'd love it! Christmas gifts for the kiddos are done and almost 100% purchased. I've got a few things still sitting in a cart waiting to see if there might be deals:
DS1 (6) - wooden building set, bike helmet, dot robot, allowance box set, puzzles, books.
stocking - dogman cuble, empty notebooks, paint, bubbles
DS2 (3) - knex, legos, magnatiles, play hats, bath blocks, books
stocking - paw patrol figures, paw patrol bubble bath, paw patrol bandaids (theme much?)
DD (8 months) - antsy pants play mat, M&D fish, sleep sack, shoes, lost my name book
stocking - pacifiers, wubanub, will probably throw some puffs or other baby foods in there to fill it out

This post is so helpful. I have no idea what to tell people for DD (2.75). I think she would like a board game-anyone have any suggestions for an almost 3 year old? Some other ideas:
-pop up tent for her room
-little tikes trampoline
-hopper ball
-magnatiles
-large floor puzzle

@IRunForFun: +1 on Sneaky Snacky Squirrel, that's a big hit in my house too. Also Candy Land and Snakes and Ladders are huge.

@wrkbrk: We LOVE Giraffe and a Half in our house! Great choice!
I have thought of a few stocking stuffers for LO, but no great ideas for Christmas gifts. Her birthday is at the beginning of December, too. I am also a grinch who hid away some presents from last year for "later", and we haven't pulled them out yet, so I should go through that stash before I start buying.
