DH bought kindle fire tablets for the kids (4yo) to help us through WFH....
Ahhh....there are 8 million icons....does anyone know of a way to reduce the content on the first screen so the kids don't have 100 things to click on?

@meadow: I don't have one but is it like an iPhone where you can group apps in folders and move the folders over to the second screen? Then you could just leave 3-4 apps on the "home screen" from which your kiddos can pick?

It is a huge pain, but you can really clean things up by removing 'unwanted' freetime content. They don't have a good way of doing this, you have to click on each app you want to block instead of the reverse, and there is no select all function, but I cleared out about 700 apps and now the kids have a much more streamlined home page with only stuff I want them playing.
Also make sure to block web content if you want to enable wifi. Otherwise you'll have tons of videos show up as well.
