aiya. i feel like she gained so much weight because she is CONSTANTLY rebelling against her natural body type. i feel like they all work SO HARDDDDD to have the tiniest little waists and look perfect all the time and it's just not possible to maintain that while pregnant if it isn't your natural shape. i am by no means a kardashian hater but i feel like kim has no sense of reality. also... the letter from her dad about her body kinda weirds me out?

I'm actually kind of confused what is eye-roll inducing about this, aside from the fact that it's Kim kardashian. I'm really not a huge fan of her , but can relate to the whole "my body didn't feel like mine" thing. And I mean I don't think god really gives a crap about me and my weight gain, but there are a ton of people who genuinely believe that god controls every facet of their life, so if she thinks part of that is him taking her down a peg by pregnancy weight gain, meh. It's not a logic I personally subscribe to but I know people that think this way and i don't really think of it as self absorbed.
Mostly she's done and said wayyyy worse things in terms of being out of touch. -

"He was saying: 'Kim, you think you're so hot, but look what I can do to you.'"
It just sounds so, "God himself had to find a way to bring me down a peg so I'd be more like an average mortal." Seems very self-aggrandizing to me.

@MrsSCB: I don't know, to me that sounds more self deprecating than anything. Like "he needed to knock me off my high horse" kind of thought process. She's recognizing she had an ego, and going through pregnancy was gods way of curbing that.
I'm going to stop defending the kardashians now because weird.

I actually thought that first quote was pretty funny: "Look what I can do to you!".
What kind of annoyed me was the line about IVF. It seems really insensitive to families who rely on IVF and fertility treatment. I don't know how to even explain this ... it just struck a nerve with me. "I just want a baby now, and we could totally conceive "naturally", or I'll just go get IVF!" ... At least that's how I perceived it.
Maybe she is struggling? If so, I feel badly for judging.

@littlejoy: She recently admitted that she was told by her Drs that she would never get pregnant and I think it was mentioned on her tv show. I do think between Kim and her sister Khloe, I think Khloe struggled more to conceive a child. Though Khloe admits that she didn't have IF, and that her hormones were just off (which could very well cause IF). I do see a smidge of insensitivity with her throwing the word IVF around, but I don't know what her Drs told her. Plus, Kim seeing her sister struggle, I'm sure her and Khloe looked into the option of fertility treatments early on or more recently.
Oh, I say this as someone who does not watch her show (never have) and does not particularly like her. (Bothers me a little that I'm defending her a bit.) To me, she's seems to be an attention whore... so anything to get her on magazines. That is what bothers me.
As a contradiction to everything I said, I do like when people bring up anything IF related. Makes those of us who are going through IF less hidden.
