The Kardashian show is my guilty pleasure. Hehe but yeah, she needs to dress better. I feel bad that everyone is giving her such a hard time about the weight gain. She's pregnant! You're supposed to gain weight.

I love Kim and think the media needs to leave her the f alone! She's pregnant and can wear whatever she wants. I looked like crap when I was pregnant and can't imagine having everyone scrutinize me and telling me what I should and shouldn't wear.

First of all, good to know that gaining weight while pregnant makes you a whale. People are so dumb. I want to kick them in the face.
Secondly, I love the Kardashians. NO SHAME! I applaud her for wearing those heels, yo. When I was pregnant I would've been a fumbling, ridiculous mess if you made me shove my feet in 5 inch heels. I agree these outfits aren't "flattering," and I would never wear her maternity choices, but my clothing mantra is wear what you love & screw everyone else's opinions, so... no judgement here!

She wore an outfit a couple of weeks ago that looked great - a cami, blazer, and a pair of J Brand maternity jeans. She just looks like she has to be so uncomfortable! I can't imagine wearing leather skirts and pants at 8 weeks, much less 6 months. Ouch!

I think she puts her self out there so much that it is expected that her fashion choices would be scrutinized. You can't expect fame for something, but then expect people not to form an opinion.
At the same time she should make choices for herself and not her critics. I wouldn't dress the way she does if I had all that money to spend on a wardrobe. I do think she could dress in a more flattering way, but as long as she is happy...

@mrsmenow: Totally agree.
If you choose to be famous (for what is well beyond me), then be prepared to accept the consequences of public scrutiny. When you put yourself out there with a reality show, multi-million dollar sham marriages, and jump at every opportunity to have your picture in the tabloids, you know what you're signing up for. Whilst I don't think a pregnant woman should be criticised for gaining weight, I think criticising her appalling wardrobe choices is well within the parameters of acceptable behaviour because it's a choice SHE made to put herself out there.

I don't look to the stars to show me how to dress when I'm not pregnant, so I don't expect to use their style when pregnant either. Much of what Kim K and Jessica Simpson wear any day , (pregnant or not) isn't something I would look twice at, and usually just makes me cringe. I use them for entertainment, not style since I can't afford their style even if I liked it!
