I had heard from my "guy" at the candy shop (no really, I promise) that they will be basically the same but the toy will be more lame because it won't be a choking hazard. Some of the imported ones have tiny pieces. Chocolate will be the same.

I got the Easter ones in Canada for under $2.

I didn't know the u.s had never had kinder eggs! What other tasty foods do you miss out on?! Honestly, they're so so and now that the toys have to be safer they're a bit lame. Also, here they have "girl" and "boy" eggs for sale at some places which is obviously not cool... however, there's still a market for the eggs. My parents get them for grandkids as a treat and they're fun.

I grew up in Germany and I think the toys were really cool when I was a child. I actually love the chocolate it tastes like nostalgia.
