Do you have friends who know EVERYTHING about parenting and love to tell you how you may have it now but "just wait".... Or, like to tell you what you are thinking?
How do you deal with them?

No. And that's exactly why we're friends!

I don't. I just spend less time around them or keep the parenting discussions to a minimum. No one likes an "I told you so" or a "just you wait". The one I can't stand is the not-a-parent/not-a-parent-yet. "Oh I'll never do xyz..." gets under my skin. Walk a mile, yo.

Some, but I also have to fight urges to tell people "just wait" on some things!

ugh, I have a former friend (turned acquaintance because this is an old relationship from high school that just won't die...) whose son is 4 months older than mine. EVERY single time I run into her, she says "you'll see...." about something new.
DS is 13 months old and thus far, not a single thing she has said was true for us - it is so hard not to roll my eyes! We also have completely opposite approaches to parenting, so I just smile and walk away. -
I have a SIL like that, I spend as little time with her as possible.. that seems to work

We have learned to just nod and say thanks rather than try to argue.

Yes! I have a few. I respect their been their done that experience, but often their initial approach to parenting doesn't jive with what I am planning to do. Once baby arrives I'm sure I will be a master zoner outer.

Yep. Her kids are so difficult and challenging and consuming and mine are apparently easy. I have to remind her when she's being a know it all....in a sarcastic kind of way....she gets it but can't help herself.
